Got mine in November 2023 for $40. So incredible deal and have been so happy to have an ebike at all at such an affordable price. However, ever since I bought it, the pedal assist has not been consistent. It doesn't work at all on hills and cuts out when I hit bumps. Seems to do better the lighter I am on the pedals. I assume it's the pedal assist sensor but I don't know how to get to it or what to do if I could figure out how. So I've just been using the throttle a lot in my super hilly city and charging the battery between most rides. But two days ago, I was riding along and the whole thing just turned off. No display, no power. So I pulled the battery out and put it back in (..like 50 times) to no avail. This has sort of happened before when putting the battery back in sometimes I have to put it in just so, but never mid-ride. Some plastic pieces around the connectors where the battery goes in are a bit broken so that's my main suspicion, but it hadn't been a problem until this weekend. Super bummed. I love having an e-bike.
