At someone’s funeral, put all their knickknacks, tchotchkes, and other “collectibles” that would otherwise be donated, in the vestibule outside the viewing area so that friends and family could pick up a memento of their departed loved one.

I did this inadvertently! When my dad died, I wanted to “honor” (weird choice of word) his love of travel. So I gathered up a lot of his souvenirs and had them all over the funereal home. When the service was over, I realized people were taking them. I was taken back, but was ok with it.
