Who do you use for water delivery?

At work, we have used Ready Refresh forever, now that Primo has bought them, they are horrible. It seems that Sam's and Costco both use Primo. Does anyone use a company that they love? I tried looking at sparkletts but it seems they no longer have a website.. Our office is in Carrollton, we want bottled water and 5 gallon jugs. Thanks!

Rain fresh

I have this question as well - we started with water event to get the mountain valley glass 2.5 gallon jugs. Ready Refresh is so bad, and Ive been researching this for days and think they just have a monopoly in the DFW area unfortunately. I wish Phresh Waters in CA was here.

My office has a Bevi. It does hot, cold, room temp, sparkling or plain, and has a bunch of flavors. Plus no plastic waste from bottles.
Prestigious-Tank-980@reddit
We have a bevi too at my office. So amazing!
I’m trying to find a promo brands replacement for home use though cuz we go through more water than a brita filter can handle.

City of Dallas! The pipes come right into my house, which is awesome.

Faucet water? No freaking way

I purchased 4 empty 5 gallon bottles are just take them to my Water store in Plano where they actually have Alkaline water as well

My work has one if those, I think it's the ION one. Parks Coffee owns/services/maintains it I believe. https://www.parkscoffee.com/watercoolers
MysteriousParsley549@reddit
We ditched bottled water a long time ago and just use normal cups/personal water bottles.

I would love to ditch the plastic bottles, truly. Unfortunately I am not able to make that choice. I don't drink bottled water, not only is it horribly wasteful, it's full of microplastics.
Dawnzarelli@reddit
The ION water is great

I used to use Ready Refresh until the service became awful. Now that I hear Primo bought them, it makes sense. I did some research and found that in DFW, there weren't any good delivery options (although I never heard of Rain Fresh before and will definitely check them out). Anyway, we are currently getting bottle service from Home Depot. We turn in our empty jugs, and they replace them with full jugs and load them in the car. It's been the best alternative to water delivery I have found.

Ozarka which became ReadyRefresh which became Primo. No real issues, any I had were addressed.
Simple-Chocolate-854@reddit
Too bad you can’t get a fridge with a water filter in it. That’s what we switched to.
rwhockey29@reddit
I use faucet. Even came pre-installed. Hasn't failed me once.
NothingButTheTea@reddit
Tastes like ass
Ok_Championship_385@reddit
Has fluoride. The delivered water does not. Also, tapwater is treated.
Decapitat3d@reddit
Stop blaming the water taste on your unwashed hands, ya heathen.
SamHenryCliff@reddit
That’s just because you forgot to brush your teef after last night. Might wanna get CT checked for heliobacter pylori too. Mark Normand did a PSA about it on a podcast once.
(Then again depending on which provider is delivering the tap water, you could be right)
NothingButTheTea@reddit
Ahh yes, mouth smell that only happens when I dont drink RO water.
Have they checked your house for lead pipes? I'd be worried based on your reply.

Get a Britta filter
drewforty@reddit
What year is it? I forgot this was a thing. Every office I’ve been in for the last 20 years has had an inline filtered ice/water station.
Dawnzarelli@reddit
Yes. And most ppl have reusable water vessels.
SuperHobbit@reddit
What’s wrong with tap water at your office?
AtrophiedTraining@reddit
It doesn't come in plastic containers that need to be trucked around.
IAmSixNine@reddit
we use culligan at work. we get the 5 gallon jugs every 4 weeks and a water cooler with both hot and cold outlets. been very happy with their service..
SprJoe@reddit
cups. I use cups to transfer the water from the faucet to my mouth. The water arrives through a multimillion dollar series of pipes that have been installed to carry from a multimillion dollar treatment plant to the faucet. It’s an endless supply, from my perspective, and I never have to wait for a delivery man.
aguila1915@reddit
I was using sparkletts too but I think all of these companies are now one. I’ve been sent water when I wasn’t scheduled to and haven’t received it when I was scheduled to. I don’t know who’s running things now but yeah it’s gone downhill almost immediately
ninjamike808@reddit
Correct, we were using sparkletts until Ready Refresh/Primo bought them a few months ago. Pain in the ass. I ordered a couple cases from Amazon and guess who shows up to deliver lol
Poor driver was so embarrassed. He knows they’ve been dropping the ball, fumbling the whole takeover/merger. The cheapest prices I’ve found is Sam’s Club, but I’ve been considering a water cooler that’s tapped to the water lines. Can be cheaper and you never run out or have to place an order.
aguila1915@reddit
Dang that’s a good idea. I’m in an apartment so not sure if that’s an option for me.
ninjamike808@reddit
It is, but it would be annoying. You’d be better off with a nice filter on the tap or something. Would also be more expensive than you probably drink right now.
ooooohweeeeeee@reddit
We use Rain Fresh and never have had a problem with them
LibertyProRE@reddit
I'm in the same situation as the OP and am seriously considering cancelling my monthly service now that ReadyRefresh was bought. Thanks for the quality lead!
kaiser_soze_72@reddit
3rd Rain Fresh. I work grocery retail and Primo/Sparkletts got bought by Ready Refresh earlier this year and have staffing issues and inventory issues. They do sell Mt Valley Spring tho.
Rain Fresh is family owned and can run residential runs and we sell them at our store. They sell sport cap bottles(12 and 20 oz I think) so you can try a small amt first. Really good people.
usernamenumber3@reddit (OP)
Just called, they are super nice! Definitely number 1 contender at the moment. Thank you so much :)
MoeKneeKah@reddit
Primo taking over for ready refresh has been a nightmare. They haven’t shown up in a month and my empties are taking over my porch. All they’ve delivered since they took over is several emails telling me my delivery is rescheduled. I’m also considering leaving
LibertyProRE@reddit
I stopped the delivery guy as he was about to drive off, and I asked if he took my empties. He said no. Then he just sat there in the truck and made me go get them to bring to him. LOL Yeah, no. He didn't put the bottles where my account says to put them, and he didn't pick up the empties either.
RosemaryCroissant@reddit
Tap water here has always been good, it’s not really a strong water delivery town
ForeverOk7505@reddit
I didn’t read through all the comments but we had Sparkletts and it became Primo and now it’s Ready Refresh. What kind of water are you getting? We’re doing spring water and I have not noticed a taste change. I mean customer service has been awful even before refresh.
belladonna_81@reddit
i used Ready Refresh for YEARS. i am an ozarka water lover and didnt trust my apartments fridge or faucet.
superwawa136@reddit
my office has filtered water fountains that also dispense. at home, we use jugs but refill them at our local watermill express for $0.35 a gallon
azwethinkweizm@reddit
Water delivery? What on earth are you talking about?
Jedi_Mind_Trip@reddit
I think some people just don't trust tap water so they have the large jugs that you hook up to a dispenser. Mostly in offices, I think. I think it's all coming from the same place most likely, but I'm far from an expert.
Anon31780@reddit
We used to use Sparkletts, but have since switched to filtration systems maintained by our coffee supplier (Parks & Co).
TexasBaconMan@reddit
I have a pipe from the city
ApprehensiveAnswer5@reddit
We are actually looking into this as well.
Same experience with Primo now that it’s moved over.
Will be following for suggestions.
JFoz284623@reddit
We were using Ready Refresh several years ago, but switched to Pure Vida, they have a unit that dispenses the water hooked up to a water line, reverse osmosis filtering. It was cheaper than 5 gallon jugs and takes up way less space.
Irish_queen1017@reddit
Sparkletts was part of the primo merger unfortunately. That’s who we used to use and you are correct, they are awful now
in4ser@reddit
The Carrollton company I work at uses Perk Provisions for our one stop shop for water and vending machines. They’re alright but sometimes the deliveries can run behind because of drivers screwing up.
Personally I use water drop reverse osmosis water dispenser at home which is cheaper and cleaner imo
Dawnzarelli@reddit
Install an under the sink purifier. Way more eco-friendly. I drink my tap water all the time.
FlirtAndSquirt1@reddit
Sam’s club or Costco. Don’t use the people who deliver it to you they are a scam. Send an admin or Human Resources as they usually have spare time

My faucet.
