Apart from the obvious, what places do you know in the UK?

I have been to almost everywhere within England, most of Wales, some parts of Scotland but never been to Northern Ireland. I have been to Dublin, but I only list that because I know a lot people mistakenly think the Republic of Ireland is part of the UK However, to answer your question with a question. Explain what you mean by 'know', does it mean you know where the place is, or that you know your way around that place?

If it’s places I would recommend to visit. Stratford Upon Avon, Bletchley Park, Also most places in Cornwall and Devon. The Lake District. Could go on forever …

Surely it depends where you live in the country as to what places you know? If you are up north, then you are more likely to know places such as Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester

Aside from where I've lived, I know my university town, places where I went on my summer holidays as a kid (Devon/Dorset), the towns where my parents live, places where I've gone to weddings, and national parks that I've visited for hiking.

Pretty much all of it apart from Lincolnshire. I'd be pretty confident that I could roughly locate 90% of towns with a population of over 75K if you named them. I think I know where every national park is, but maybe not every AONB
