It’s likely not on purpose. When I was younger I got to spend 6 weeks in Israel, of which 1 week was with the military (this was back in the Clinton era), mostly doing hiking in the desert.). I spent time with Arabs, Jews, and Christian’s. From my experiences there, it’s likely just heightened nerves from the prolonged conflict or something stupid like miscommunication in israeli intelligence.

Yes, there are absolutely some crazy fanatical people from all 3 major religions in the area. Especially the ultra religious. But the vast majority of people I met there were some of the nicest peaceful people I’ve ever met. I just dont see the average idf soldier wanting to start further international conflict intentionally.

I’ve done a deep dive on videos from Gaza and it’s dead kid after dead kid after dead kid… arms blown off, tents attacked by missiles, drones that target and shoot the youngest child walking with their mother to get food (this was documented several times and stated by an English doctor), hospitals and everything blown up even the rubble blown up. Elderly wounded patients being rolled on hospital beds through rubble (there were 2 very injured people on the bed) obviously it wasn’t rolling easily on the rubble. The elderly woman barely looked alive and the man pulling it collapsed and just started crying. That was after they bombed one of the hospitals. So many kids maimed and amputations. Babies with amputations. Kids carrying their dead siblings. Starving babies. Dead babies… like a lot of them. I keep seeing them. And the highest amount of targeted and killed journalists in any war. That is a quote that I saw. Also citizen journalists (influencers) targeting and kills along with their families
