Hazer_123@reddit
Just condemn? Is that it?
If you do not make active efforts in cutting ties with Israel and let them get away with this, they will keep doing this whenever thry want, for as much as they want.
waiver@reddit
Man, I thought at first that they were metaphorical "warning shots", because what kind of shitty ass country would shoot at a diplomatic delegation? But of course it had to be Israel.
Cue now the legion of full time hasbaristas ready to justify that.
Dry-Season-522@reddit
I thought by your narrative Israel doesn't do warning shots, it just murders baaaaaabies all day long?
BufferUnderpants@reddit
Ah so the line will be to show how merciful Israel is to its enemies, including the diplomatic delegation
(By the way Israel is a Democracy aligned with Western Values and America’s Greatest Ally, don’t you dare criticize it)
Dry-Season-522@reddit
20 years of holding back, phone calls, leaflets, roof knockers, minimizing civilian casualties, but apparently it's bad if a jew does anything so they just took the gloves of. Why should they care about the opinions of people who will condemn them no matter what they do or don't do?
BufferUnderpants@reddit
Yeah, no, these aren't misunderstood teens, adult men commanding armies have no business killing civilians because they feel unloved, be serious here.
This is like Pinochet or his political patron, Nixon, wah wah-ing that Europeans didn't like them for violently usurping power and violating human rights in Chile.
But what can we expect from war criminals and their defenders.
Dry-Season-522@reddit
I find it hilarious you hold the jews to the standard of perfectly sanitary and civilized warfare, but those who want to destroy israel get to strap bombs to children.
You're the classical "I don't want to kill all the jews, I just want to get rid of anything that stops the jews from being killed so my hands stay clean."
BufferUnderpants@reddit
What is this about "the Jews"? Israel isn't "the Jews", were you whining that people were being mean to "the Slavs" when NATO bombed Serbia for their ethnic cleansing?
waiver@reddit
After they fill their quota of dead babies they obviously have some free time to shoot at diplomats /s
Dry-Season-522@reddit
If why you were saying was true, how are there any Gazans left? What percentage of Gazans have been killed in this war?
Brilliant-Tackle5774@reddit
Your army of cowards and rapists just spent the last 20 months murdering thousands of innocent children, nobody cares what a zionist hasbara troll has to say about anything
Bauser99@reddit
Israel must be glad everybody's calling them "warning shots" when really they just missed
giant_shitting_ass@reddit
Unless the EU members actually stop selling weapons or impose sanctions en masse on Israel (they won't), this will just be a blip on the news cycle and everyone will forget it in a few weeks.
Federal_Thanks7596@reddit
I don't think Hasbara can even work here. They can't call them Hamas or human shields and crying antisemitism wouldn't work either.
waiver@reddit
I just saw them in another sub saying that it was totally justified using warning shoots if they deviated from the route... in their brain the idea that they can just go and tell them to return to the preapproved route is an alien concept.
travistravis@reddit
Also that at various points we've seen them murder aid workers following the preapproved routes.
beefprime@reddit
We've seen them murder aid workers who were in custody on their knees.
DiligentCorvid@reddit
They spell it out in Morse code.
BallisticFiber@reddit
They yet to discover Hamas tunnels under Brussels. Those EU politicians better watchout, anytime now
kinmix@reddit
No, that's not it, they will also sell more weapons to them.
FourCardStraight@reddit
The IDF has slaughtered multiple British citizens working as aid workers with charities, and still our government sells arms to them.
Patient_Xero_96@reddit
What’s a few (tens, hundreds, thousands) civilians when the gov is gonna get a huge payday and kickbacks, plus having an outpost in the middle of the levant.
nothingpersonnelmate@reddit
It's not an outpost though. No Western militaries operate out of Israel except for an American radar array. The UK uses its base in Cyprus for the region, the US has more forces stationed in the UAE and even Jordan. And it doesn't act as a proxy either because it doesn't get involved in Western-lead wars barring some limited co-operation against ISIS.
Patient_Xero_96@reddit
Yes. You’re correct. It’s not military outpost. It’s not even UKs.
It’s an “outpost” for Western Influence. It’s an ally. Eyes and ears that the West knows they can somewhat trust in the region.
They don’t operate there, but they have friends there. They have influence in the region, so to speak.
nothingpersonnelmate@reddit
It's a fair-weather friend that lives in an unending storm. It's not clear that they give anything at all in return for the aid and protection. Even the Iron Dome that the Americans helped them develop, they refused to allow the Americans to review the source code which meant they couldn't deploy it themselves.
onepareil@reddit
Sure, but those British people cared about Palestinian lives, so they were probably terrorists anyway. The IDF did you guys a favor, just like they helped us out by killing that American 14-year-old last month. You should be grateful. /s
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
Remember how 14,000 babies were about to die in the next day?!?!
Unable_Duck9588@reddit
Yeah. They’re going to die over a little longer period instead.
Because starving kids is fine as long as they don’t die immediately.
Em3107@reddit
lol clearly they only reported that to increase public pressure and here we go another pressure tactic based on a baseless lie.
Unable_Duck9588@reddit
Kids are being starved right now in Gaza, are they not?
Like, it genuinely baffles me how its ok to starve children and innocent people and be ok with it.
Em3107@reddit
Enough aid and food went in. Ask Hamas to share the food and not steal it from their people.
Unable_Duck9588@reddit
This is not true at all and is a lie pushed by the Israeli government to excuse their plans for starvation.
We know its a lie because the government announced it would blockade the entire strip and starve them.
Eventually, you will realise you’re on the wrong side of this and you will tell everyone you were always against the genocide.
Em3107@reddit
There’s literally videos out there or Hamas stealing aid. Hijacking the trucks.
Unable_Duck9588@reddit
*Videos put out by the Israeli state which is known to lie all the time.
your_red_triangle@reddit
yeah like you using 40 beheaded babies lies to commit genocide. sick society
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
Like those 500 people who died right after that hospital got hit by a missile, right?
Unable_Duck9588@reddit
Another whatabout.
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
Funny how all these examples of you morons swallowing every piece of anti-Israel propaganda just gets deflected and you go right back to sucking on the next piece.

says the clown that was repeating Hasbara propaganda about 40 beheaded babies
KaiBahamut@reddit
And you swallow every pro Israeli piece of propaganda, like a good little boy.
jpatt@reddit
Well, when the biggest lobbyist group in the US is Israel it skews all of the news and politicians to deflect and defend them.
Then dumb people like that guy just swallow it up without actually thinking about and looking into what’s going on now and historically.
CharmCityKid09@reddit

AIPAC isn't even in the top 20.
https://www.opensecrets.org/fara?cycle=2024
Israel isn't even in the top 10
It really hurts your and others' arguments to lie like this over things that can be checked. Just say you hate Israel.
bradicality@reddit
AIPAC isn’t the only one. Are there any other genocidal ethnostates higher on the list?
CharmCityKid09@reddit
Turkey with their conduct towards the Kurds and prior to that the Armenians, China with the Uighurs. Then again, just like the other poster won't respond, you went out of your way to dodge what I said. It's always about moving the goalposts.
jackdeadcrow@reddit
So what about the 1500 rape claim again?
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
What are you referring to?
jackdeadcrow@reddit
Make sense, your side want to black list that memory as much as possible
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
Just as I thought. You made up some lame strawman.
jackdeadcrow@reddit

Use it
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
You made the assertion, you disingenuous little prick, you fucking do it.
mnmkdc@reddit
Imagine if people responded to all your comments with “just like how the ambulance lights were off” and “just like Israel wasn’t going to ethnically cleanse them”. Would you agree that means you’re spouting pro Israel propaganda and none of it’s trustworthy, or are you a hypocrite?
Unable_Duck9588@reddit

Slurp slurp! Better get some kneepads, honey.
Unable_Duck9588@reddit
And another one
Redeyedcheese@reddit
Yeah an official at the UN lied so its okay for EU delegations to be shot at.
Fuck off.
PapaverOneirium@reddit
There are literal videos of this happening as well as testimony from the diplomats themselves. Are you really trying to imply this didn’t happen?
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
Sucks to be you, simp:
UN retracts aid chief's claim that 14,000 Gazan babies will die in 48 hours without aid
PapaverOneirium@reddit
This post is about Israel using live fire warning shots towards diplomats.
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
Happy?
The Israeli military said the delegation had "deviated from the approved route and entered an area where they were not authorised to be" and that soldiers fired "warning shots to distance them away." No injuries or damage were reported.
CJBill@reddit
Speaks volumes that rather than speak to them they fired shots instead.
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
May be don't fucking leave the pre-planned path, though it's doubtful these were actually "delegates."
Decent_Cheesecake_29@reddit
Maybe give them a fucking radio before hand so that you can tell them instead of shooting.
CJBill@reddit
If you think the right response to a large group of diplomats straying from a path is to shoot live rounds towards them you need to give your head a wobble because something is broken up there.
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
Can't be very good diplomats if they're too fucking stupid to follow a map. Maybe they were planning on dumping cash into the Martyr's Fund.
CJBill@reddit
If you think the right response to a large group of diplomats straying from a path is to shoot live rounds towards them you need to give your head a wobble because something is broken up there.
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
It's okay, tomorrow there will be a headline about "30,000 babies are going to die tomorrow" and you'll get your panties in a bunch about that.
your_red_triangle@reddit
"deviated from the "approved " route, were they scared they would find more evidence of war crimes that these terrorists are committing ...
PapaverOneirium@reddit
So Israel did exactly what they are being accused of doing? Your point seemed to be that this was a lie, but it’s clearly true. You just don’t seem to have a problem with it, whereas most other people find using live fire warning shots on a diplomatic convoy for dubious reasons to be a problem.
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
May be these "diplomats" shouldn't have veered off the pre-planned course? But next time I'm the Israelis will just send a card in the mail.
PapaverOneirium@reddit
How do we know they actually deviated from the pre-approved route?
Assumedly they had radio or similar contact mechanisms they could use, no? If not, why were they allowed in at all? If yes, why didn’t the Israeli soldiers use this to alert them?
Why was the area off-limits to begin with?
Why does Israel have the right to dictate where diplomats go within the West Bank at all?
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
How do we know these were legitimate "delegates" and not some Qatari funded Hamas enablers?
Who said they're "diplomats?" Do you have some credentials to share?
PapaverOneirium@reddit
From the very same article you linked. First paragraph. You’re not very good at this.
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
And? So what? What's a "top diplomat?" Who were these "delegates?" What evidence does she have to the contrary? Was she there?
PapaverOneirium@reddit
The article goes on to say:
It seems fairly obvious, given the official statements from state diplomatic offices and foreign ministry officials within these countries, that these were diplomats. Or are you accusing, as just one example, the French Foreign Minister of lying?
God, you’re so bad at this!
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
Were these people there? Do you have proof they were shot at?
PapaverOneirium@reddit
This is just so desperate it is pathetic. Anything to muddy the waters to protect Israel from the consequences of their own wrongdoing.
Own_Thing_4364@reddit
This is so desperate, finding anyhting to blame Israel on because you were to stupid and gullible to swallow the 14,000 babies dying idiocy.
NTaya@reddit
So, "14,100 cases of malnutrition over the next year" is fine?
Own_Thing_4364@reddit

ChillAhriman@reddit
The EU is currently renegotiating their trade deals with Israel over the situation at Palestine. Is that enough? No, it absolutely isn't. But it would have been unthinkable a year ago. All of these crimes committed by Israel are mounting over, and at some point, the dam is going to break.
1DarkStarryNight@reddit
Yeah well, they’ve yet to cut ties w/ Azerbaijan, which ethnically cleansed an entire region.
I wouldn't expect much, beyond vague ‘condemnations’.

What is happening to the self-proclaimed most democratic state, the West's best ally and greatest country on earth? This isn't very cool and moral of them.
Financial_Change_183@reddit
I mean, it's still a Democracy. It's just most Israelis are cool with genocide, because they don't consider Palestinians human
advillious@reddit
is it really a democracy if they engineer the demographic to have an ethnic majority?
Financial_Change_183@reddit
Based on that logic, northern Ireland would not be a Democracy because it was engineered to have a protestant majority.
advillious@reddit
i didn’t know that. i would agree that it’s not.
jaynic1@reddit
Thats just a state using their right to dictate their own immigration policies.
IEatWhenImCurious@reddit

jaynic1@reddit
Im not well informed on gerrymandering but I really don’t see the problem of a state deciding to only accept certain immigration candidates. If it was a dictatorship then sure but if it’s what the people want then whatever.
Purgatory115@reddit
It literally wasn't a democracy and Irish people faced massive discrimination within Northern Ireland, which directly led to the troubles.
Things changed after the Good Friday Agreement but it took a lot of bloodshed to reach that point.
travistravis@reddit
It's essentially gerrymandering on a national scale
Kiboune@reddit
Looks like Europe and US are also cool with it, this is why they don't pressure Israel for war crimes
loggy_sci@reddit
And Russia and India, let’s be clear. Not to mention Russia committing war crimes itself in Ukraine. Sit down.
onepareil@reddit
This is why the “only liberal democracy in the Middle East” brag is so funny to me. Like, there hasn’t been an election in Gaza in almost 10 years. Israelis have free elections, most recently in 2022, and look who they picked.
Maybe that seems hypocritical to say, considering where I’m from, except I agree with rational people everywhere that my country is trash.
Hazer_123@reddit
Israel realize the EU leaders are all-talk and found the opportunity to screw them over and get away scott free.
Grotzbully@reddit

ijzerwater@reddit
as others stated, if they do this to diplomats, what do they do to Palestinians?
OpenMindedFundie@reddit
They shot unarmed naked Israelis begging for their lives in Hebrew, with the justification they thought they were Palestinians lying.

The EU would even just “condemn” if these “warning” shots had hit someone. My bad I forgot, those shots hit children every single day, but they aren't part of the noteworthy political elite.
The EU is absolutely toothless when it comes to Israel. Having the possibility of selling/buying weapons from/to Israel just seems to good to some EU leaders. Perfect way to whitewash your own history, by allowing this to happen. But sure let's wait for the official IDF view and just accept it. Spineless European Union
heskaroid@reddit
The sad reality to all of this is the inherent orientalism present within the EU political sphere. They don't give a fuck about arabs, but I bet you the response would've been way harsher if the Palestinians were caucasians or some shit.
Kiboune@reddit
Response is harsher if victims have white skin and EU politicians acted fast on trying to stop deaths of white people since 2022 invasion in Ukraine. But Palestinians are in tough spot - Europeans don't like them because of racism and Israel has a tight grip on EU politicians balls
shugthedug3@reddit

shugthedug3@reddit
At this point we might as well fill the pockets of our aid workers with bullets so the IDF can reload after killing them.
Ridiculous situation, given the behaviour of Israel any normal country would be risking starting a war with how brazenly they attack the citizens of other countries... but we get fucking genocide promotional events being held at the British Museum.

Oh, this is what like the 50th condemnation? EU and Western nations are nothing but hypocrites with only very few exceptions like Spain, Ireland.

wq1119@reddit
There is a new condemnation for a daily war crime every day now.
Twenty_twenty4@reddit
It’s crazy how indefensible this is. It’s an egregious violation of international principles and norms. And yet, on the other sub, there’s still people defending it as “well, they must have deviated from the planned route and those IDF soldiers showed immense restraint!”
It’s insane. Immense restraint? You’re in an illegally occupied territory carrying out action contrary to international law by harassing and menacing a refugee camp… you have this group of international diplomats IN SUITS and, according to reports, had been standing around the area for hours…. And then you decide to fire warning shots to intimidate them.
Those diplomats, by the way, are YOUR allies…..
It boggles the mind. No matter what Israel does, there will always be a cadre of very dedicated people who will defend it to the very end. There is no bottom on the Israeli side, it seems.
The other sub can’t suffocate the story like they usually do because it’s big news. They’re just removing comments lol
It blows my mind. This conflict blows my fucking mind for so so soooo many fuckin reasons.
waiver@reddit
I mean, what did you expect them to do? Walk a whole block to tell them the area was off limits and ask them in a gentle way to leave the area? That makes too much sense, better go pew pew pew

I suppose it’s too much to expect blood thirsty Israelis to use their words instead of bullets.

And some fascists keep saying that Israel is a normal nation 😂. Fuck Israel and all their NATO trash pathetic fascist supporters. Can't wait for the "Israel" flairs to try to spin this one around while they always do. Don't bother, I already think you are subhuman fascist trash as it is, you don't need to try and make me think it more
