I'd love to buy that 18" 3296 x 2472 4:3 OLED as a secondary monitor if it was affordable, but unfortunately it wouldn't be since its low volume
Worried-Scarcity-410@reddit
I don’t think it can be used as second monitor. It is to use stand alone.

The concept is innovative. I like it.
eldog@reddit
It's not innovative, Lenovo and ASUS have had similar machines for a few years.
Dry-Distance4525@reddit
With tandem OLED?
Valuable_Associate54@reddit
It's not a concept, it's on sale right now lel

No no no no no that's way scarier than if it's just a phone
Like I appreciate Huawei trying new shit but if y'all think foldables look ugly with the crease, imagine that but bigger.
DontPeek@reddit
Not sure why you're getting downvotes. A giant crease, delicate plastic screen, lack of usability of a laptop but too big for casual use. It's a gimmick.
Separate_Broccoli_40@reddit
With newer foldables, the crease is unnoticable. Most laptop screens are very durable at all. Not sure what you mean by lack of usability, or being too big.
DontPeek@reddit
The crease is still noticeable on newer devices. glass is very scratch resistant while plastic is very easily scratched, dinged, torn, etc while offering almost no protection for the actual display behind it or rigidity to the device as a whole. This device will not be good for productivity without a physical keyboard/touchpad and it's too big to use as something like a tablet.
If you think this isn't a gimmick then let's see how many laptops share this format in 5-10 years. Nobody wants a gigantic 18" folding phone instead a laptop or iPad pro or anything else on the market that does everything better than this device.
Separate_Broccoli_40@reddit
Lack of commercial success or even popularity doesn't make something a gimmick
FriendlyDruidPlayer@reddit
I want something like this with a really good pen for digital art
cabbeer@reddit
this makes no sense if you're planning on using it on the go, desktop os is optimized for keyboard and mouse, unless this is a huge tablet...
