Any chance that my cat could get it from eating commercialized chicken raw? Sometimes I give the boy some small pieces when I'm cutting chicken.
Maybe I should start boiling them now?

Yes, my friend lost two of her cats from eating raw poultry.

Thanks for the info. Won't be repeating that mistake.

Uncooked chicken is dangerous in general, even without bird flu. High chance it has salmonella.

He used to be a wild cat and loves raw chicken, so we used to think it was ok. Not anymore. We'll be boiling this cat's chicken treats from now on. Thanks for the info

Though since there still doing a crappy job of testing anyone or anything can I myself do test for cats ? I have a workplace that idk manages to have a ecosystem of feral cats with a lot of birds or pigeons which I notice some cats sick and few dead recently ( 2 ) which ive seen up close but didn’t have any sign of being in a fight or killed of by any other animal .
