Philosophy chat ok here? Nihilists or former ones?

Don't like posting elsewhere about this because of the age range or overwhelming cynicism in other subs. I've been a nihilist since my teens. Got told it was teenage angst. I hoped to find my place in the world so did the study and career stuff in my 20s, along with some travel and focussing on my relationship with my now wife. Still felt like it, and was told I lacked perspective. In my 30s I did family stuff, more career, more travel, and started down a minimalism/stoicism/off grid/naturist path. Still felt nihilistic, but was told I was finding the responsibilities hard to transition to. Now I'm in my 40s and feel the same way, but now the ideas more clearer and well formed. I've got a family and a good marriage, tried travel, studied, helped others, spend a lot of time in nature, got a good job, have housing security. I'm pretty lucky to lead the life I do, and for it to have come about after both my wife and I grew up in public housing. I've read broadly and taken in big ideas. Existentialism, Absurdism, theology of all kinds, Taoism, Buddhism, and other isms... Any other nihilists who have found their groove? Or bonus points for any who reformed themselves and don't think that way anymore?
