Why would we do that?

Just to give the British perspective on this - British judges have defined almost any country outside Europe as unsafe for a whole host of reasons. Especially in the case of our major migrant origin countries like Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Sudan, migrants can very easily claim that they are gay/ Christian/ liberal/ atheist/ disabled (despite not actually being any of those things) and a judge will block their deportation. While they are here - while they are appealing their sentences especially, which frequently takes years - we are obliged by our own laws to host them. Most of the time, this means spending huge amounts on either placing them in dubious hotels, or housing them at our considerable expense in council housing. In both cases, on top of the financial cost, large concentrations of recent migrants tend to cause social problems. What is the correct solution to this? Overruling these idiotic judges. Will that happen? We have actually been slowly moving in that direction over the past six months or so, but at nowhere near a desirable rate. I don’t want to see this situation inflicted on any Balkan countries besides Albania and Kosovo. Albanian and Kosovar gangsters have effectively taken over large parts of the drug trade in the UK, and the Albanian and Kosovar governments do nothing to prevent them from coming here, so they can take all the migrants in the world for all I care. There is absolutely no political reason or moral justification for us to be depositing thousands of migrants into a field in Croatia or Romania, though.
