Just replied, sorry for the delay.
Splitsskulls@reddit
Replied. Thanks for getting back to me. Just realized yesterday was Sunday, everyone needs a break :)

Edwardteech@reddit
How long is that lifetime supposed to last?
johnnirobbie@reddit (OP)
3000 RDS
HandOnTheGlock@reddit
Can you shoot me a pm pls
WooHoo2You@reddit
I'm probably going to get downvoted for saying this but I do not think dude is trying to say the lifetime warranty expires after 3001 rounds, just the part is expected to last that long AND he will replace the part regardless if it breaks.
Nothing will last forever, being upfront about that and the expected usable lifespan is not unreasonable in my mind. For example....My air conditioner compressor has a lifetime warranty....but no one sane will expect a compressor to last a human lifetime.
99% of users buying a $30 SS aren't going to be running 3000 rounds through it regardless. If you do, just tell him you are only on round 2001 and get your warranty part. Pretend problem solved.
That being said, I'm skeptical a 3D printed part not made of metal would last that long. Never printed CF but have years of printing regardless....skeptical at best.
QuietPewPew@reddit
Thank you for the reasonable take. Long range guys are replacing barrels that cost more than budget ARs every couple thousand rounds... replacing a $20-$30 part is nothing.
WooHoo2You@reddit
Not to mention forgetting about the $1500 in ammo expended during the process ;)
johnnirobbie@reddit (OP)
Yessir. Exactly it.
Thanks,
Edwardteech@reddit
So like 5 weekends?
MagicManHoncho@reddit
More like 5 decades for a chump like me who so desperately wants more land to just be able to shoot that amount per weekend
SheriffBartholomew@reddit
Ha! I was just looking at land plots today, wondering if I can buy somewhere to shoot.
Edwardteech@reddit
Gunclub my dude
g_freeman7@reddit
Too many idiots
MagicManHoncho@reddit
I am in a gun club, but being a member doesn't clear up my schedule any more so....
IStayMarauding@reddit
For real. That's not lifetime, that's a 3000 round warranty.
Edwardteech@reddit
But lifetime sounds so much better.....
Legitimate-Simple-98@reddit
"lifetime warranties" are always a scam, its for the "lifetime" of the product. Which the person can set to whatever.
jmike3543@reddit
That’s a joke right?
Entire_Routine_3621@reddit
You can’t be seriously saying your lifetime warrantee is 3k rounds and not the life of the part. That’s so scummy. Won’t be buying anything from your company.
Novel-Treacle-2956@reddit
removes from cart
mynewaccount5@reddit
Wait is this a joke. Why even advertise a lifetime warranty
_UpForAnything_@reddit
Anyone else not actually getting their’s shipped? It’s said Awaiting from Sender since Monday
johnnirobbie@reddit (OP)
We had so many orders, everything is in a queue should be caught up tomorrow
_UpForAnything_@reddit
Thanks! I figured it was something like that
johnnirobbie@reddit (OP)
Yep, my bad. I've got all the envelopes prepped and filling them up as they come off. Been throwing extras in for people like yourself where it's delayed.
_UpForAnything_@reddit
No worries at all, that’s how it goes sometimes in manufacturing
HistoricalSwimming60@reddit
I bought 10 of these made with HP MJF Nylon PA12 (different printing technology that gives way better layer adhesion) for about 25$ with shipping and tax, dm me if you want me to link you the shop as I don’t want dumb dumbs trying to order something illegal like a receiver and having the shop deny all further 3D2A products
Gurgen97@reddit
I’m sorry but is this the only thing I need ?
Belezibub@reddit
This is the Super safety fire select group with cam and a jig to cut a milspec trigger. All you would need to do is install the new safety (youtube videos cover this), cut and install a trigger and you should be mostly set.
Foodran@reddit
what buffer should i go with ?
Belezibub@reddit
It depends on some factors mostly barrel length but H2 should be fine. I would see if it runs with what you have first, you may not need to change it
SheriffBartholomew@reddit
You sound like you know your stuff. What buffer weight would you suggest with a full auto BCG, 20" barrel, and a carbine length buffer tube and spring?
victorzamora@reddit
20" barrel and cable length gas??
No way of knowing for sure, but that's a LOT of dwell time. Probably H3, but an AGB may really be the solution.
SheriffBartholomew@reddit
What do you mean "cable length gas"?
victorzamora@reddit
Typo, sorry. Carbine length
SheriffBartholomew@reddit
The complete upper is set up for a 20" barrel, but the buffer tube and spring are carbine length. I couldn't find a rifle length buffer tube assembly when I was building it, and all of my research indicated that carbine length is fine. So far it shoots great, so I think it is fine. I finally did find a rifle length tube if I want to switch to a fixed buttstock instead of a six position, which I'm thinking about doing. I like the six position for when my wife wants to shoot, but I would otherwise prefer a fixed buttstock anyways. I just need to decide if my wife is going to want to shoot enough to justify keeping the six position or not. She has a little 9mm AR brace pistol that she prefers shooting anyways.
victorzamora@reddit
How long is the gas tube? Buffer tube doesn't matter.
SheriffBartholomew@reddit
The gas system is rifle length. Idk the exact measurement, but it's a standard rifle length gas system. It is this upper.
Foodran@reddit
okay i’ll try tomorrow
hairy_camel_jockey@reddit
you also need to round out your safety detent pin
ScorpiaChasis@reddit
saw this today... https://youtu.be/VunrhQzYWkg
depending on application, CF nylon is actually weak
plutPWNium@reddit
cf nylon is very abrasion and impact resistant. Most of the wear the SS experiences is abrasion. Nylon is prob the best choice for this imo
eaamade@reddit
Can someone please dumb this down for me? This is a FRT, right? What would I need to do to make it work on my crappy MGI MARCK-15 AR?
creeper_jake@reddit
Not knocking the hustle, but I'd research how long a printed SS lasts y'all, before throwing your money at one. My sister's brother's cousin said he knew a guy that got one from twin bros back in the before times, and that the cf nylon lever lasted for maybe 30 rnds.
inaudible101@reddit
The only thing printed in plastic is the jig to cut the trigger. The lever and cam are metal. Although they do look like 3d printed metal.
Channel_Dedede@reddit
Ship to FL?
SheriffBartholomew@reddit
Can you tell me about this jig? I already have a SS on the way, but I know aligning the parts and holding them in place with the spring loaded is a PITA. Is the jig something I can print at home?
Temporary_Traffic622@reddit
somebody that knows more about these... if they were to fail, cam being worn out... or lever breaking.. does semi-auto still function?
nope_noway_@reddit
Yes, it will as long as nothing is jammed up the cam will just function as the safety by that point
Edwardteech@reddit
Yes.
Electronic-Tea-3912@reddit
It showed up $20 for me so I bought 3, not sure if that's an accident or not?
johnnirobbie@reddit (OP)
Will be shipping
RyAllDaddy69@reddit
You’re the shit man. I jumped on it and bought one before I saw the free shipping code…so I bought a 2nd one!
Tell me about this warranty though…
DonArgueWithMe@reddit
Try a different email if it won't let you reuse it
Electronic-Tea-3912@reddit
What a guy!
Excellent_Act_8302@reddit
I only got one and am considering going in for another. Insane deal
digitalwankster@reddit
They're 3d printed in cf nylon, is it really that insane of a deal? You're going to have to replace it
Electronic-Tea-3912@reddit
If they'll ship it's amazing. I know this isn't PSA but now I no longer get my hopes up.
Excellent_Act_8302@reddit
Wouldn’t let me order again because I already used the promo code…
RyAllDaddy69@reddit
I had that problem when I went in for a 3rd…
Why did I find out on the 3rd, you might ask?
I didn’t fucking see the code on the first. I saw they were $20 and sent it…then I saw the code and bought another…then I went back in to see if the price had been raised. When it hadn’t and was still $20, I figured “why not?”…then found out the code only works once.
Just asked OP if he could change it. It’s worth a shot.
Aldur98@reddit
I assume this needs the cut trigger as well?
johnnirobbie@reddit (OP)
Yes, jig is included.
Aldur98@reddit
I see that now, damn good deal.
gfx260@reddit
It’s not metal… good price for a person looking to “try it out”
TresCeroOdio@reddit
A metal jig is only necessary if you really suck at doing anything with a rotary tool cutting wheel and some files. Drop your trigger in the jig, mark with a paint pen, cut to size and retest fitment
thegrumpymechanic@reddit
I think they were talking about the super safety components, not the jig. This all looks 3d printed, no metal components.
TresCeroOdio@reddit
Makes sense!
tubbymaru@reddit
I'm 99% sure he meant the safety itself
GoinDownInFlames@reddit
In for 2, so excited
geopede@reddit
What happened to your old site with the Microbest BCGs and such?
Schnibberflibble@reddit
You may be thinking of WC Armory.
geopede@reddit
Oh yup my bad
StrainWest2713@reddit
In for 2. $30each with code
paperkeyboardalt@reddit
Do these work with a 22lr conversion kit?
Diligent-Parfait-236@reddit
With the auto trip kit from cmmg or borebuddy.
HobbitonHuckleshake@reddit
I may be slightly slow... Do I need anything else to run this in a lower? Or do I have to modify something? What is the purpose of the jig?
Zack_Dtx@reddit
Leverage the include jig to modify (cut) your mil-spec trigger so that the SS goes brrrrr
bobbyboner1982@reddit
In for 3 thanks!
RideshareCurious@reddit
20$ OTD, I wanted to pay 31.49$
Armory12@reddit
Same here
RyAllDaddy69@reddit
Lifetime warrant means you’ll replace it when the cam wears?
redacted_robot@reddit
The shipping costs better be covered. Shipping probably costs more than printing a whole plate of these.
sickels61@reddit
Literally a price that made me say "why the fuck not"
Good on ya mate
ZeTurino@reddit
What else do you need for the kit? Or is this all the parts.
Idumb_gerunteed@reddit
It looks like you just need a milspec trigger. Use the included Jig to cut it and you should be good to go.
Makemeathrowawaypls@reddit
Do you guys ship to Florida?
