Kek, Russia won the war in Europe. About 6 times the amount of Germans died on the eastern front compared to the western front operations. The Soviets had already stalled the German offensive on Moscow and moved a portion of their means of production eastward before the US entered the war. The main value of the US was their lend leases sent over the course of the war. Which, granted, were a massive help for the war effort. But the Germans would have eventually been gutted by the red army after they had gained time to focus on the eastern front in Europe. And the Germans had never prepared for a drawn out offensive against the Soviet union. They only anticipated a quick capitulation as with the other European powers they had occupied. And the British would have been able to economically strangle the German maritime trade like in ww1, which they had been doing. German material shortages would only get worse as they had limited fuel and oil along with others to sustain production. The main threat was the German U-boats, but rapidly advancing sonar and radar was quickly diminishing the viability of wolfpack raiding. The Europan war would've taken longer, cost more lives, and led to greater territory gained by the Soviets post war. But the axis would've lost in Europe.

Japan on the other hand is a different question. They were not only resource starved and newly industrialised. But their equipment was outdated and insufficient, along with their naval and military doctrines.

The Japanese had taken a great amount of effort to push into china during the second sino Japanese war that started in 37. They still didn't have the oil or material to sustain themselves, hence their strike on the Indonesian powers which pitted them as enemies of the allied powers. Their manpower was stretched thin, their navy would have lost to the British once they would have been able to divert forces to regain British Malaya. Especially with India, Burma, and Australia being close enough for them to stage offensives and resupply. Japan gets too much credit for what they were able to do. They took over half of a country full of untrained and I'll equipped militias, occupied colonies of nations already strained by the war in Europe, and held some shitty Pacific islands and did some brutal combat. Which was a lot considering their limitations. But they were never going to keep up
