Its more metal and wood than anything else, you ever held a transferable 1973 MAC-10? Yeah its all metal and way heavier than you'd think. You gotta have at least one AR and one AK pattern rifle man. The only plastic guns I have are Glocks, which is another one that everyone should have one of.

Whatever you do please dont neuter your Russian SKS, thats a nice one...Looks like somebody may have refinished the stock but its a nice one at least. I got a set of Tech Sights for my SKS, its a peep/aperture that mounts at the rear of the dust cover giving it like 13'' more sight radius and a shit ton more shootable at distance. I could nail clays on a rock at 100+yds with a peep on my russian sks. I like russian and chinese surplus ball ammo, shit will penetrate through a 7/8'' steel flywheel taking chunks out like nobodies business, the chinese ball was some wicked shit.

That sks has a star with an arrow in it and a 1954r, so I think it’s a 1954 from Tula.

Oh thats cool you actually gave it its balls back. Ive never seen anyone do that. I kept the bayonets on all of mine. I had one I slapped in a Timbersmith laminated monte carlo stock that I inlet to keep the bayonet. Sure loved that rifle
