Help! Extremely lost with cables and afraid of frying my pc
Posted by nanq0@reddit | buildapc | View on Reddit | 5 comments
I recently brought new parts so I could build my pc. My plan was to have a family member to help me out. They did help out the pieces together, but not the cable parts. I’ve been trying to look at videos, anything that could explain what goes where and how to properly connect everything.
I need help with properly connecting everything. If anyone could help or offer advice it would greatly help.

1) Don't force things.
2) Don't use hammers to make stuff fit.
3) Get all the manuals of all the parts. If your parts didn't come with a physical manual, find the pdf on the manufacturers' websites. The manuals will provide information on which cable goes where.

Did your parts not come with a manual?

Look up the model of your PSU it should give you direct info what goes where.
