Vpay is just to Visa what Maestro is to MasterCard. Works 99% of the time in the UK but Tesco weirdly sometimes doesn't (Visa then also doesn't work). So I wouldn't worry. Although Voaycis being phased out.

You can use Vpay in the UK as it is part of the Visa network.

Thank u! I can probably not use it in the smaller stores? Do I need to check something before paying? Any symbol that says I can’t pay with Vpay?:)

A friend was using Vpay here and it worked everywhere apart from a Tesco (supermarket) for some reason. If they take Visa, Vpay should be accepted. It may be worth getting a Revolut as back up though

If it’s MasterCard or Visa you’ll be fine- most stores you can pay contactless or Chip and Pin.

Google says that it’s a part of Visa but not totally so I’m not sure

Hmm, yeah I’m trying to have a look. I honestly don’t know. Suggest you bring a back up?

Wikipedia isn’t a reliable source? Anyone can change it. (I’m not trying to be rude sorry)

Also had a look on the Visa website. It isn’t clear as it says it’s being phased out.
