What would you spend £3,000 on in a week?

If I had to spend it in a week? I'd need £1000 of that to pay off my overdraft and credit card. I'd then love to replace my wardrobe with things that actually fitted me. Then I'd go visit places around the UK, I think with having £1000 left on a day trip I'd maybe manage 3 days out if I spent the money wisely and avoided the obvious tourist traps. I fast every day all day (eat once at night) so food would be a saving here but travel and visiting places isn't for free. Or I might just blow the whole lot going to get my hair and nails done at somewhere really nice, though not sure the going price for either now, I might have to pick one over the other! But if I just paid off the debt, I think I'd be more than happy to get me through the week! These are all plans for me though and what matters to me. What matters to you may well be different. I'd look at what makes you interested- not so much smile or have a laugh- those things last momentarily and take ages to get to. You want something that interests you, that way you spend the rest of the time deep in thought and that passes the time far better than the 45 min comedy event you go to on the Wednesday night. Are you interested in history? A particular person in history? Do you want to learn how to do/make something that had always been confusing to you? Would you try going to a lecture at a university? You've got £3K to spend you could potentially travel to most big Uni's, many who will gave public lectures available to all. There are activities in things you might be interested in; mind/body experiences, adult college courses which last a week, fast-track exercise courses which teach you how to run/dive/jump out of a plane... If you go through the route of something you want to learn you will have far more that lasts outside of the lesson itself and might even pick up some new friends.
