What was your process? Do you have access the clips from the side of the panel or is there a tool to do it from the outside?

There's 2 nuts on the inside of the body for the front and rear of each trim molding. Take the nuts off, then gently pry up on the trim with you fingers. Eventually you'll feel it snap off the clip and you can move up to the next clip. Rinse and repeat until the whole trim piece comes off the body. Then you remove the clips separate.
