Is it actually nice to live on Hawaii long term?

I mean, from the outside, it looks to be awesome. Beautiful beaches, no winter, palm tree forests, no winter, just generally nice vibes. Yes, they did invent putting pineapple on pizza, but if the german nation was able to reform itself after the third reich, Hawaii might be able to one day redeem itself for that heresy. However, many places *Look* nice, but can be terrible to live in. Paris is dirty, England has nice fields and rolling hills, but only 2-3 days of summer to enjoy it, Hungary has beautiful plains and historical cities, but a large chunk of our population is made up of assbackwards savages, so on and so forth. What is it like to live on hawaii as an average Joe?
