PC purpose? Gaming predominantly Purchase country? USA. -Near Micro Center? ~20 miles or about 45 minutes Monitors needed? No, but I game on a 65" TV Budget range?* I am thinking nearish 2K USD but it can be a conversation. Do not go ASrock for the motherboard if u r pairing it with that CPU ASrock boards more than any other board manufacturer have been killing the cpus by literal frying them till it brings the board. Asus also has been so I would steer clear of them all just for the risk. While the other board manufacturers have a chance to call the risk is lower with MSI or gigabyte

I recommend them I have used them for about 6 years now no issues and just bought myself a Gigabyte X870 EAGLE to go with my ryzen 7 9800x3d

https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/bundle-and-save.aspx Get either the 9800x3d or 7800x3d bundle Cooler is aesthetic, a $35 thermalright ps120 is enough, their aios are also fine Just get a good 2tb ssd instead of an overpriced good 1tb and overpriced mediocre 1tb 5070ti shouldn't be $1000 H9 is a choice, it's a very large case Get a modern 850w+ psu with the 12vhpwr cable the gpu uses

The motherboard in the 9800x3d bundle seemed a bit meh but will take another look. I will take a look at the cooler you suggested as well. I realize that separating my OS and gaming files isn't really relevant anymore and shows my age. Any opinion on good 2tb? I will pay $849.99 for that GPU at microcenter with the member pricing. I see the PSU is not even in stock now.... modern PSU? Do you mean modular?

Atx3.0/3.1, which has the 12vhpwr cable the gpu uses. It's a slider on pcpartpicker.com, set it to 1 as the minimum Microcenter has multiple mobo options and sometimes let's you pay the difference if you want to swap them The 2tb sn850x would be good. /r/newmaxx has a flowchart in the stickied post

I upgraded from a 1070! Thing held out as long as it could! Def recommend double checking micro center bundles. They usually have more than one motherboard option and you save a decent amount. I ended up with an X670E tuf gaming one in the bundle. Would definitely try to get an 850w PSU. The cost between 750w and 850w is almost negligible And don't pay $1k for a 5070ti.

$850 isn't bad imo. I paid $699 for a 9070xt which is also $100 over MSRP. So I'd say go for it.
