Do anyone know something about the company A-SPADZ

Greetings to all Have you heard of the brand A-SPADZ and they're model CAVET AIR. I was looking into buying an ebike and don't even know what I'm looking for. I was in a store to buy my mother a phone and went to the part with the bikes and saw. I don't know is it a ok bike or it's one of the pile Chinese junk. There was also a Riding times z8, that was another choice but I hear that it's not a descent quality bike. So have anybody heard of them or have one of they're bikes ?
Here is a link to they're site and the bike : https://eu.aspadz.com/products/cavet2
I'm from Europe so it's the 250w variant.

Sorry to dig up an old post, but did you end up buying?
Im very much tempted by this bike, but like you I can only find a few reviews and no long-term reviews.

Also sorry for necroing an old post, I bought and have ridden the A-spadz Cavet Air since the start of July. I work as a part time food delivery courier for JustEat in The Netherlands. I've ridden just over 1100 km's on the bike already and I really didn't have any issues with the bike or it's performance. It's ofcourse limited by regulations so indeed no throttle so 25km with pedal assist. Someone put up a video where you can unlock the bike speed but you need a 4 pin round connector throttle to do so.
I ordered the bike from their own EU website and received the bike in just a week, It was a nice quick delivery. I've only ever ridden a fat tire e-bike like the Radrunner from Rad Power Bikes which was provided by my workplace but I decided to buy my own.
I'm doing about 40 km during a 4-hour shift and the average battery drain leaves me at 2-3 bars out of 5. Most of the time this is on the 4th speed pedal assist speed and on the "ECO"mode, because of windy conditions and just roads where it doesn't make sense to keep throttling up to 25 km/h (Also since I'm carrying food I can't go max speed over bumps). Though I have ridden an entire day on the max throttle assist and met with similar results of around 2 bars left of battery at the end of a 4 hour shift. (Again, this is around 40km's averagely.)
The battery life so to say is pretty good, since I work 4 hour shifts, I'm loaded with equipment like my food bag, extra jacket, rain clothing, a rear-rack (Optional accessory), a Trunkbag with some small tools, snacks/drinks. One folding lock and a heavy chain lock. So from bike food delivery perspective this bike has really showed it's great performance.
There's a bridge I frequently have to cross back and forth on which goes uphill for quite a bit (Erasmusbrug in Rotterdam) and the motor easily maintains it's 25km limit or whatever limit your on.
The most important feature for me is even though is that it's pedal assist is very comfortable and non-straining. I sometimes work 8 hour shifts (with an hour break in between) and I never ever felt tired or strained from riding this bike the whole day. The battery seems to be able to keep up with the amount of pedal assist you get out from it so I feel like I never tire. Which makes my job super comfortable and chill.
I weigh around 68 kg's without my equipment and I average about 40km's a in a 4 hour shift, leaving me with 2-3 (mostly 3 bars) out of 5 bars of battery. The advertised 100km range seems sort of accurate in ideal conditions. But expect around 70-80km range which seems to be my guess.
Pedal assist modes determine the maximum speed your bike will throttle to.
Speed setting 3 - 19 km/h
Speed setting 4 - 22 km/h
Speed setting 5 - 25 km/h
As mentioned earlier I can ride a whole day on speed 5 and I will have 2 bars of battery left (so around 40%)
Averagely I will have done about 40km during 4 hours which most of the time leaves me at 3 bars ( 60%)
The bike is very comfortable to ride though I could have also done with a rear suspension, though the front is honestly enough for how I ride. The bike seat is very nice and comfortable and I can easily pedal from either the front part of the seat or the rear. As a 170cm tall person this bike was very comfortable.
Some points for attention:
There was a weird knocking sound around the 300-400km odometer mark, it stayed for 2 weeks as I was figuring out what it was by bringing it to bike shops and also contacted the customer service. The bike mechanics were quite incompetent as several of them could not figure out what the sound was, so I thought it must be internal. I had contact with the customer service and they had a slight belief that it was a motor bearing but they said it was hard to tell over video files. (I checked spokes, brakes and such but found nothing). As I explained to them that this is a delivery vehicle they didn't hesitate long before sending me a replacement motor. Though I went on a holiday at the time when they sent my the motor So it arrived when i was away.
I was going to replace the motor just in case because the knocking/ticking noise just didn't sound nice. But after working 2 weeks after returning from my holiday the sound had dissapeared. The knocking sound never affected the performance of the bike so I have a replacement motor sitting here for when it does, but it seems unlikely I will need it soon.
The only other minor issue that I need to readjust the brakes as they seemed to be colliding with the disc, probably came out of alignment because of some bumps.
The customer service was really helpfull though, and I can confidently say that they will try their best to help you. Even though they are based in China, I gave them a phone call about this issue and they were able to speak English with me and help me with my problem.
If anything breaks during the warranty period they will send you replacement parts and they will ask you to bring it to a shop to get it fixed or replaced. They ask for the invoice and it seems they will pay for the repair costs incurred.
All in all, I have good faith in this company and despite them not being popular I'm happy to have bought one from them.

I have placed an order, but I suspect it’s a fake website. I haven’t received any tracking information, and it’s impossible to contact the company. Based on Google Maps, it doesn’t look like there’s an actual store there — though it could just be a warehouse. If the bike shows up, I’ll make sure to update the information.

I read somewhere that the company closed down a few days ago. Not sure how reliable the source is though
Zealousideal-Web8654@reddit
u/DaddysLilGrampa Oh for real? Where'd you read that?
DaddysLilGrampa@reddit
Little update: the shop just got new colors in stock, so I’m guessing its a BS rumor
Zealousideal-Web8654@reddit
Good to know. I also noticed their online chat went active again. It was offline for a while almost everyday for a while but I saw that they were online again. I used it a bunch to ask questions.
ale____x_x@reddit
did you receive your accessories in the end?
Zealousideal-Web8654@reddit
Yes, I did get them in the end, they had some shipping problems. I also received many spare brakes, since I had some trouble with leaking brakes. They have already sent me 2 front and 2 rear brakes, and soon I will receive a 3rd rear brake. They have good service, but I seem to be unlucky with leaky brakes. I have 5200 km on the bike, so the bike is serving me well. The spare brakes arrived pretty quick, like 1 week and a few days. I got them through support tickets and they do seem to respond quite fast now.
DaddysLilGrampa@reddit
It was posted as a comment in a sales ad from a local shop in my country that sells these. So as said not the most reliable source
Zealousideal-Web8654@reddit
They had a telephone number somewhere on their website, I can't find it right now but looking through my phone records
Their telephone contact number was +8615068160662
I used it to ask about the knocking sound a while back. Keep in mind they are based in China so you might have to call at the right time.
Fl4qz@reddit
Thanks in advance! I hope you recieve it!

I used translate to read your comment but glad I could be of help. I'm quite happy with my bike. It performs well for my delivery job and I love the styling.

Nope , I bought a different one. I really liked the CAVET look and all but I think it's small for me to peddle. I'm close to 200cm and in EU it doesn't have a throttle so it's pedal only so that's what made me go to different bike.
DaddysLilGrampa@reddit
Yea I can see why. I'm 186 so I've had the same concern since the cranks seems to be quite short. But thought I might be able to add some larger to give it a better feel. A local store just got it in stock, so at least I should be able to test ride it.
Also FUCK the 25km, no throttle and pedal assist only rules ....
I live in Denmark, where the police confiscate on sight even if the bike just has the potential to be changed, no matter if its 100% road legal when being stopped. Along with a hefty fine up towards 2000 Euros.
So you have to get a stupid DK locked display for almost any bike and make sure nothing can be tuned.
Its a fucking hassle to navigate what to do.
ale____x_x@reddit
I am the same height, how was the bike after you tested it?
Excellent_Judge7962@reddit (OP)
The other thing to keep it mind is the weight. I live in an apartment building and my bike is 27kg. One time there was no elevator and I had to carry it to the 7th floor after a long ride....... I've never been to Denmark but I guess the infrastructure is good and you live in a house so maybe the weight is not so big of a deal and you have a lot of snow and cold months so a fat tyre is good but then again it's heavier , more rolling resistance and the tyres are more expensive.
Excellent_Judge7962@reddit (OP)
Wow that's harsh. I agree that pedal assist is enough , I now have a bike that's with throttle and I don't use it except in those few moments where I'm at a low gear to pedal with the speed I'm riding with but that's 2-3 times for 350km. In the store where I could buy the A-spadz I couldn't try the bike in the sense of riding it , I could only sit on it and when the pedal is in the highest part of the rotation my knee was fully bent and almost at the level of the handlebars so I didn't risk it. I have knee pain that kept me away from my analog MTB so something that would stress them was a bad idea. I went for something that I could adjust the height of the saddle. One thing that I can say now after buying an ebike is that if I was buying now I would get something from a good bike brand with a mid motor from bosh or bafang like a cube , specialized and so on. They are more expensive ( double the price of mine ) but what I get from posts and talking to people is that it will outlive my bike by double and shops repair those motors and bikes while chinese fat bikes are a DIY thing. I bought a folding 20x4 bike ( ado 20f beast )

A-spadz cavet air well recieved in Denmark after aprox 2 weeks after order. good quality compared to pricelevel
larsice@reddit
How do you like it?
Zealousideal-Web8654@reddit
Good you received it after all, Enjoy the bike friend.

Hi, lots of information here except for one thing. Has anyone tried riding 2 people on this bike. Is the power enough? Is the back of the seat not too small?
Head_Yoghurt_1575@reddit
Min ven har en han siger at det er den bedste el cykel han har haft og han har haft mange for tiden så. Altså han syntes den er god 🙃
No-Meeting6419@reddit
Bought the bike Also from europe
Has 3 modes eco, normal, and power, Surprisingly strong motor even on cavet air Took a test drive on (i think) decently flat tires but rideable Taking a turn feels weird tho but i think pumping the front tire up a little will help Password is possible Frame is sturdy Mudguards are quality except for the small one the backtire, that one is made of decent plastic Seat is a little hard but might soften after some uses The brakes are hydraulic Tho the pedal rotation is a little smaller than usual ebikes Overall i give this bike a strong 4 out of 5 since its at a good price Also looks amazing compared to other fatbikes
It came in a pretty large box since you only have to put the pedals and steering wheel on afterwards Everything else was essambled
Came with a charger for the battery with 2 keys
Battery was almost full charged Ordered it on friday came thursday the week after with fedex (since the weekend came in between it took a little longer)
Only problem i had was the steering wheel was slightly off with the tire (wich is pretty normal) but i found out they tightened the steering wheel holder too tight Almost overscrewed one screw Reccomend to use a decent tool instead of the ones they give you
Hope this helps
Excellent_Judge7962@reddit (OP)
Congratulations bro! Hope it serves you well and long I really like the looks of the bike. So how is the pedaling? Is it good for a tall person? If you have the time keep updating us from time to time on how it is and what do you think. It would be helpful for others that are interested in it.
No-Meeting6419@reddit
Apreciate you and thank you!
Im like 5'7/5'8
For me i can choose to sit on the front or back end of the saddle and still be able to pedal
I let one of my friends drive it too who is 5'10 but i suggest not to buy it if you are over 6'0 (bike looks to small and probably weird with a tall person)
The pedal cranks are pretty short and makes you pedal faster than normal city ebikes tho the motor is strong i dont put effort to push the pedal
My conclusion is You want to buy this ebike mostly for its looks Wich was my choice
If you need a more comfortable ebike Need to drive long distances And want more baggage Do not choose this bike
If you need it because it looks more awesome than other ebikes And you want to turn heads This is your bike
BUT there is a spare plug on the cavet air that allows you to use a thumb throttle Dont buy a 3 pin (yellow) thumb throttle buy a 4 pin (blue) one
If any more questions im happy to help
larsice@reddit
So you wouldn’t recommend the bike to someone 6‘0? Im one the verge of buying it because of the looks but also because of the option to have 2 people on it.
How good is your km outcome with one charge cuz i‘d drive it to work and back which would be 60km a day
No-Meeting6419@reddit
On 25 km/h I tried to visit a friend who lives about 28 km away from me so to go there and back im able to keep 1 out of 5 blocks on the battery
And thats without any hills
No-Meeting6419@reddit
Just noticed The cranks are fine since the sensor triggers at certain pedal speed I can just pedal slow while the motor takes it full speed everytime

Id also have a Look on this bike… there are 2-3 Videos on YT in German… But Even with affiliate Link….
Im a deckend before buying.
Looks very good for me - Even Metall mudguard 😂 in Netherland there is a dealer with more than 10 Shops and hes Selling it. Not Sure about all….

I mean, there are another Chinese company that doesn’t use really high-quality parts hence the cheap prices but based on the YouTube reviews, it seems like a cool bike for what it is. I think if you can work on things yourself and you’re pretty handy person and it’s probably fine
Excellent_Judge7962@reddit (OP)
Well I'm not a bike expert for sure 😄 and I live in an apartment building but we learn to do stuff all life haha Something that made me an impression is that with the exception of 2 or 3 videos on YouTube I didn't find anything about it, no videos from people who bought it , no long-term reviews, nothing on Reddit or somewhere else. Like no one bought it or something which is weird considering it looks okay compared to the other bikes in the style and price range and I can find something for every other bike but not this one .....
Lar1ssaa@reddit
its not that weird, it's a pretty new Ebike I think only made in 2024 or 2025 and there are 2398237498237 other Chinese brand ebikes with the same function so it makes sense that not many people have it if it's new and they didn't spend an arm and a leg on advertisement. Popularity doesn't necessarily mean quality when it comes to 1,000 or less Chinese-branded ebikes. For example a lot of people have the Ouxi V8 or the Ridstar Q20 and they use really garbage parts and have a ton of issues that you can see people discussing on this sub.
Excellent_Judge7962@reddit (OP)
Yeah you are right. I was looking at the riding times z8pro , it's the same price as that bike but 2 batteries and more powerful motor, but worse brakes and geometry and because it's more well known and has more videos and stuff about it I know it has problems. In the shop they are about $1400 which is not a small amount of money in my country ( I make about $900 per month 😅 ) .
