I’m building a very similar upper with a 16” Centurion. I would have used the upper and the bcg, then cut the 14.5 down to 12.5.

With this you get everything but the charging handle. All the parts are high quality and the barrel has a better profile (assuming you like/want socom vs gubment) .

The rail is good, but a bit of an odd choice for this configuration.

The real issue here is you need the tools and materials to put this together yourself. If you have that, this is probably a pretty good deal if you're into all the parts.

If you don't have that stuff, you're going to need to spend a bit on tools and supplies to assemble this correctly.

You also need to pay for a pin and weld job unless you're going to sbr it.

The DD requires a BCG, a charging handle and a muzzle device. It's mostly plug and play. You should still have the proper tools to install a muzzle device, but there are plenty of ways to cludge one on with some redneck ingenuity. Not ideal, but not impossible.

Yeah it’s their sand cutter BCG, it’s great but most wouldn’t benefit from it, I’d rather have 3 microbest bcg’s for that price

You get more clout when you pee the sand off your bolt, then throw motor oil on it and it runs like normal (that little trick just saved yall $200)

The pre-discount price is about the cost of all items added together. For $750, it's actually a pretty great deal.

For anyone looking for a quality 14.5" upper to put their choice of MD on, this would be a great option.

Cheapest I can find the bcg and barrel are via banshee defense for about $547 or about $273 each.

So it’s basically giving you the rail, upper, gas block and tube for $200.

Not too bad a deal since the MUR typically goes for about $165ish by itself. The rail is eh, not sure who’s pairing a socom barrel with an ARCA rail but they are all super quality parts.
