binarygoatfish@reddit
You have bread.
FreedomFlowerVT@reddit
Yeah, I agree. That bread looks alot like bread to me, too
smooverida2@reddit (OP)
Touche
Raethule@reddit
is a hamburger bun not a bun also?
FoldyHole@reddit
I’ve got some buns you can eat right here.
Oldgamer1807@reddit
We used to do that when I was a kid and we didn't have hot dog rolls. We called them turtles!
Competitive-Jelly306@reddit
TURTLES!!!
Brognar_@reddit
right one be lookin more like a dongler ngl
barontaint@reddit
Do you prefer your dogs steamed/boiled like that even with proper bread?
smooverida2@reddit (OP)
Nah, preference would be charred up a bit on a grill. I just steamed it in a shallow pan of water, cause I'm lazy.
ProxyDamage@reddit
...why not just fry it then...?
smooverida2@reddit (OP)
Wish you were here with me to remind me I coulda fried them instead. Next time.
NarcoMedusae-@reddit
idk why but this response gives me huge stoner vibes xD
Bonegirl06@reddit
Should we remind you to breathe too?
swampmomsta@reddit
Have you ever fried them with butter? I always suggest that. It's so good
Napol3onS0l0@reddit
Score them in a hash pattern too. Extra crispy surface area. r/hotdogs for more pro tips.
Kamelasa@reddit
I tried your suggestion. I don't usually buy hotdogs, but these were $2 a pack, so I grabbed it on impulse. They have very little flavour - lol. I will have to spice them up, but at least now they are ready for the microwave, pre-grilled to keep in the fridge.
Napol3onS0l0@reddit
Love me a bacon and tomato sandwich. I do tend to get mine really crispy when I do dogs in oil or butter.
Maybe next time I swing by my local Isenkram store I’ll pick up some dogs and a bike tire tube.
Kamelasa@reddit
Is this a reference to my nick? And is the tube for a side-by-side taste test?
Napol3onS0l0@reddit
Yeah it’s a reference to the YouTube video lol. And the tire tube is what he originally went into the store for.
Kamelasa@reddit
Ah, I forgot that. The word "isenkram" sounded vaguely familiar - lol Thanks. Always fun when someone recognizes it.
Napol3onS0l0@reddit
IIRC it was made by some Norwegians as a joke. Im neither danish or Norwegian but found the video hilarious.
Kamelasa@reddit
Yes, it was Norwegian TV and is famous in the Nordic countries except maybe Iceland. I'm just a word-freak with no Nordic background. Also, I googled after your comment, and Isenkram is a store in Denmark - lol
barontaint@reddit
I understand all too well.
brapbrap20b@reddit
Missed opportunity to use each side of the bun like a taco and also were these left in the sun to warm up?
fuckyeahpeace@reddit
those are literally bread buns you fucking retard
Palanki96@reddit
But you are holding a bun and those are not cooked
Are you high or having a stroke
National_Frame2917@reddit
I thought that was a finger sandwich for a minute there ngl
Bigoweiner@reddit
I'm just glad OP didn't call it a "glizzy". Good God I hate that word.
withbellson@reddit
It sounds dirty. It’s not?!
Bigoweiner@reddit
Lol no. I'm just getting old
keithkings00@reddit
Looks like bread and a type of bun
Dragon_Cearon@reddit
...that sausage head. r/mildlypenis
Joseph419270577@reddit
But you have clearly had buns so we’re all confused about your apparent lie. Must you really turn this hallowed sub into a sub of lies?
smooverida2@reddit (OP)
Plz forgive me
Joseph419270577@reddit
Don’t let it happen again
YakElectronic6713@reddit
It's the same type of bread, just in a slightly different shape.
Scallopz_Too@reddit
You sir have cooked nothing
exactlyfine@reddit
The way that one is split on the front looks just like a
JustTraced@reddit
I'd smash
OSRSDDUB@reddit
Cooked?
giotheitaliandude@reddit
That's alright but your cat is like "look at this mf" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
weird_Finn@reddit
Burger bun is bread. Flour+yeast+liquid = bread
Skittish_But_Stabby@reddit
The Oops Dogler. Lol
reddit_tard@reddit
"Cooked"
Mcgarnicle_@reddit
If you’re lazy why not just wrap in a paper towel and microwave for a minute? It’ll taste better than and be much quicker and easier than your pan boil method
Slightlysanemomof5@reddit
We cut the hot dog in quarters lengthwise except for small part in the top, boil in water. The cut part curls up ( looks like legs) and top looks like the head. Call them squid or not quite octopus. Very popular for my children when I was out of bread/buns.
FloraMaeWolfe@reddit
At first glance I thought the dogs were your fingers.
BushwickSpill@reddit
Feral ass mustard placement
Independent_Word3961@reddit
Is the cooked dog in the room with us?
smooverida2@reddit (OP)
It's in my tummy
tkrr@reddit
It’s a hdootg. Or, if you prefer, a gzlziy.
UndeadBuggalo@reddit
I’ve don’t this a million times except I toast the bun with butter
1989-Gavril-MD70@reddit
I used to make hot dog sandwiches using 2 hot dogs, I split them in half, then cut them long way again, stick them on a bun with some American cheese and a condiment of your choice and enjoy
NotoriousEMB@reddit
You mean a hotdurger?
HappyParallelepiped@reddit
why your doggler uncircumcised
Torchaf@reddit
That "doggler" is not cooked
smooverida2@reddit (OP)
Either way, it's long gone now.
Numb-Dimrod1216@reddit
split em in half lengthwise so they don't roll around as much
smooverida2@reddit (OP)
Good idea! Will keep that in my back pocket for next time
BatDynamite@reddit
Buns are bread
smooverida2@reddit (OP)
True
Missingyoutoohard@reddit
Sounds like my life
