BE WARNED: The switched the company that applies the gold finish and it comes off more easily now. Takes about 9 months for a warranty refinish.

On the plus side, you can sell these for $4k on gunbroker

When did these get so expensive? My buddy and I each found used gold ones locally circa 2013-2014 and paid less than $1300 for each of them in mint condition. This might be the only production gun that costs more than 10-20% what it cost 12 years ago.

In the brisk 105-degree Scottsdale summer, the Steggler knew he had one last errand to run before emigrating to his mom’s Wisconsin cellar. Off yonder, nestled in the red sand, was a tribe led by Chief Mike Glovewrecker — protector of his people, trimmer of fat.

Shortly after sundown, under the shimmer of a full moon on the desert floor, a disturbance echoed. Chief Glovewrecker heard a cry and ran to investigate. A guard grunted, pointing behind a rock 300 meters off in the distance.

Chief Glovewrecker extended his kaleidoscope and spotted it: a motorized wheelchair crawling through the sand, a blinding gold object glinting from the handlebars.

The Steggler. Two weeks earlier, a Quaalude-fueled detour with a Scottsdale “wo”man had ended badly. The Steggler hadn’t walked since.
