Prepper dogs

So we live rural (but not rural enough for me) . As part of our lifestyle we keep dogs for very specific purposes. We have a doberman who is ppt so he goes where I go at all times and is the one who sleeps in the bedroom. We rotate the other dogs guarding the various access points. Currently the rest of the pack consists of boerboels, leonbergers and cane corso. We are considering adding a rhodesian in the future and another ppt dobie in a few years. The downside with such large breeds is that they have short lifespans but for security purposes a mixed pack like this has worked really well for us. We've had bears and creepers in the night here and the dogs treed them both.
Did anyone else pick their breeds with prepping in mind? Which breeds do you think are most useful? I constantly look for breeds that can be a working part of our outfit. What training pertaining to prepping do you do if any? Mine are training for water rescue(not the boers they sink) pulling a travois or cart and carrying a pack.
Also what preps are people doing with pets in mind. Food presumably but what else? We have a lot of vet supplies because I used to run a wildlife clinic but not so much on the toys entertainment spectrum because my dogs just arent into toys much and they are hard on them being so large. Chews yes but they get antlers and raw bones for that.

Extremely late but the possible dog breeds on my list are:
Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Brittany Spaniel, Kooikerhondje, Portuguese Podengo, Saluki, Viszla for hunting purposes.
English Shepherd, Chodsky Pes, Kelpie, for herding and farm work.
Border Terrier, Parson Russel Terrier, Patterdale Terrier, Cairn Terrier, Plummer Terrier, Jagdtterrier, Kromforhländer for vermin control and alert system.
Appenzeller Sennenhund, Black Mouth Cur, Rhodesian Ridgeback for guarding purposes.
Aside from most of the terriers, training to carry a pack is doable. Appenzeller Sennenhund were originally bred as cattle herders and do pull carts so the latter would definitely be a job they'd be taught. Search and rescue is definitely on the list for a lot of the sporting breeds as well. Of all these, the Black Mouth Cur might the most versatile and a pretty silent breed overall so good when you need to keep a low profile. The Podengo is a sighthound like a Saluki but different build so would also be a good companion when you need to bug out.
