I know this was probably a mistake of the cheese leaking but how wouldn't they notice them being way too light and airy and having a hole in them before serving, yes it's probably a cooking error but that shouldn't have even been served in the first place

Ah my buddy worked in a pub where they deep fried mozzarella sticks. Apparently if there’s holes in the batter all the cheese escapes into the oil and you’re left with the shell. But these look like someone took a bite in each before even frying lol.

Cheese leaks out if the oil it too hot. The cheese will melt out before the outside is done.

I work at a restaurant and people want this kind of thing believe it or not. I see people order like onion rings and take out the onion lol. Like they should really make fried breading rings lmao

I just looked at their website to check. The crumbs used to be free under your food. Then they took them away and started selling them as a side. It appears as though they aren't available to buy anymore but the last time I ate there they were under my food.

They probably weren't frozen properly when they went into the oil so the cheese just melted/evaporated away. They're supposed to be fried when frozen.
