I wouldn't think there would be much money in what is already a knockoff of an SRO. Why not just fake an SRO? Not saying it's impossible, but if I was a shady man, I would make a fake SRO. I wonder if they sell more that way

I’ve compared side by side from 2 omegas that I bought from 3dgunman, seems to be legit to me.

Shake awake, glass clarity, brightness settings, even down to the click feeling of the buttons and adjustment screws are indiscernible to me

Same, I want one for my TX22, but at $150 it's too close to the price of a $170 Holosun. Since I want one for a 22LR I might take a second look at Cylee.

The problem with Gideon raising the dealer price (no the store's fault), is that I they will sell a lot less of these at $150 vs $120.

Lol that’s funny, the Gideon guy was arguing with me that the omega was made in the US and definitely not just a white label. Mine was a lemon, they’re popular on Reddit as a range red dot yet people shit on other brands that are of the same caliber

They are 100% not made in the US. In fact, Gideon raised our price 20% and specifically blamed tariffs. I recommend them for a range dot and a gun you want an optic on. If you’re going to carry, then I’d upgrade to a Holosun.

FUD. Circle/dot is bright enough for the sunniest CA daylight, if not you got a lemon. And as thin as Holosun 507Comp on comparable brightness settings - again if not, send back to Gideon for replacement.

The owner spilled on Forgotten Weapons that QA tolerances is one of the ways they save on costs, but they replace readily when owners complain. Here’s yours to test that claim.

I got it from Cajun at the prev price, and he sent dot only version by mistake. I played with it for 5 min before he replaced it (very fast on the first ask btw) and the speed of target acquisition is so much better I wouldn’t consider dot only under any circumstances.

Once my RMR gets back from warranty I’ll report back and send it in, but you can find other reports of the circle dot being dimmer then the dot only. It’s bright, but when shooting steel matches the white targets and any sun make it close to invisible.

give it a try. i have circle dots in red and green and they're fine for daylight use. my bigger concern is leaving it up too bright and then trying to use it at night. But that's the same problem i have with my aimpoints and trijicons. I'm using 4 of their sights now, and i have a 5th to use when i pick a gun to put it on No problems yet.

My issue with the circle on these is it's so thick. The only other circle dot I have to compare is to is a HS510C but the circle on that is like a third of the thickness of my Gideon.

Assuming this is a Gideon Judge order?

We were fulfilling orders and when we were about halfway through, realized inventory was missing. We had inventory not get delivered which was caused by a distribution partner not shipping all of our inventory. This was caused because Gideon messed up the shipment to them. Unfortunately, this caused our systems to have incorrect inventory for ONLY the Gideon Judge. Any Gideon judge order that was not fulfilled was cancelled and fully refunded. The inventory for the Gideon Judge should be available next week (and I can absolutely honor the price), but we couldn’t keep any orders pending without being able to provide an exact date. To put simply, when they come back in stock, they will ship, and ship quickly!
