We downvotes everything negative

After being on Reddit for over 3 and a half years, people do not agree on what is "wrong" or "right". Just about any AITA or AITD post can prove that. Most people who get downvoted, from what I have seen as people who think outside of the hive mind and have a different take than the majority (even if what they are saying can be easily validated via a quick Google or ChatGPT search. But even if not, not everything that cannot be progen to be objectively right is wrong.). This would just perpetuate the hive mind and shut down different perspectives. Now if the post/comment is racist, sexist, ableist or ageist that is different, and that stuff should be downvoted and shut down. But most of what I see get downvoted isn't. And in the past few months, maybe even year or so, I have seen more and more comment sections struggle to even agree on what does, and doesn't fall under those terms.
