I would like my Aventure to go 35 mph as needed. There has to be a way to modify the limited speed imposed by the app.

you find a way yet?

Alas.
No.
The local dealer won't touch it (making it faster, I mean).

Damn it. I heard you would need to replace entire parts to do that

Whole reason I bought this bike was for 32mph now I’m capped at 28. I want my money back @aventon

I have an aventon aventure, My firmware updated via my phone, now when I peddle over 28mph, the motor starts resisting and restricts my speed. In the area I am forced to travel to work, this restriction is actually endangering my life, people in cars are wastes of human flesh and I almost got hit 4 times this morning. Fuck aventon. I’m rewriting the fucking firmware to make this thing do what it used to.

The motor isn’t restricting your speed. You just weren’t physically strong enough to pedal faster than 28mph. The restriction you feel is the motor turning off. I’ve got a level.2 now and I am able to feel the motor turn off at 28mph but I am also able to pedal all the way to 40mph after that.

No. If at top speed, then going down a hill and hitting the assist level to zero, you can get 40mph. I did. The machine resists any speed over 28, so going down a big hill, max out speed and then drop assist to zero, but keep pedaling. This keeps your display on so you can see your speed

No. It’s literally just the motor itself turning off. That’s all you’re feeling. The bike is not stopping you from going over 28mph. It’s following the laws that state an e-bike cannot use the motor over 28 mph. You are feeling the coils in the motor generate power. It’s lost as heat but still. That’s all you’re feeling.

Nope, you're wrong

My max speed on my aventon pace 500 v2 in its information says max speed is 35 nut when editing the max speed it halts at 28😭 if you pedal hard though like standing i easily surpass 28 and have hit 38 on 5 pedal assist. U gotta put yo back into it
