It most certainly had nothing to do with anon, women don't cut their hair to try to seem unattractive to a coworker they talked to like once ever. A couple of explanations come to mind:
Anonny made the whole thing up. Either hallucinated it and really believes it happened, or just started fantasizing about being an employed person who gets promoted and typed it out.
It's real and Ashley is in an abusive relationship. Usually it's not a problem because the office is almost all women (and presumably the 3 other dudes never worked with her or she didn't mention them at home), but once she was interacting with another man, her controlling S/O pressured her to change how she looked.
Ashley was trying to fit in with the other women in the office. She was possibly kinda new also when anonny started, and over time started to conform to fit in. After anonny left, a different woman replaced him who also liked short skirts and made Ashley feel comfortable being more true to herself again.
It's obvious anon wasn't subtle and did in fact creep her out and made her uncomfortable to the point she purposely made herself look unattractive to anon. How do I know?
"WHY DOESNT SHE LOOK ATTRACTIVE TO ME AS SOON AS I START WORKING THERE BUT DRESSES BETTER AS SOON AS I LEAVE THIS COMPANY???"
Because only an obsessed creep would notice something like this and keep it in the front of their mind rent free for years.
He's at the age where he's working the corporate grind. He says "new job" at the beginning. Then gets another job a year later. This suggests he's at least 24 years old.
How does someone get to that age and still think everything that other people do is a reaction to you? Most people never think about someone after an interaction like Anon had with this woman ever.
Admittedly, I had this mindset at one time too. But it had disappeared long before I reached 24. The Thing is, realizing that people are not thinking about you all the time is a great relief. You're less self conscious about any embarrassing things you may do.
Anon needs to get over himself. Nobody gives a fuck about him. In the same sense he doesn't give a fuck about the mailman, customer service reps or food service workers.
Woosh. I was making a joke. The guy is so creepy that sexy coworker has to change her looks super fast after seeing him once. But this greentext is fake and gay anyway.
Girl at my college cut her long hair into a pixie cut and she went from being one of the prettiest girl in the class to the most feminine femboy I've ever seen. Still hot I guess, but a questionable choice nevertheless.

A hot boy, mind you.

Girls having a boyish appearance are called tomboys
stillmahboi@reddit
But that would imply she's a girl who pulls off a boyish look.
I'm trying to make it clear she metaphorically became a dude in a slightly meanspirited way.
