I'm a commercial diver, often clean boats around marinas. It looks good for the algae film but I'd like to see it tackle barnacles or mussels. Any pad tough enough to chew up a barnacle is also going to obliterate your bottom paint. I don't see it replacing a good old fashioned plastic scraper.
If you're still wondering back when I was doing it around 5 years ago $100 min $2 - $4 per foot. First time cleaning was $75 per hour anodes $15 per install. All depends on location though and is gonna vary by diver or company.

How much do you charge per foot to clean boats?
