I think the anti-life angle comes from interfering with your own capability to combat infections. If your body doesn't do it then eventually you might not be able to live without antibiotics or something like that.

It's one of those things that the only defense will be some weak statement about "amalgam has been in use since the 1890s!" or whatever when that really just means it's a sketchy antiquated practice from back when or understanding of human biochemistry was way more rudimentary, and it's simply become institutionalized and normalized for dentists to keep using even though they probably shouldn't, and it won't be discontinued without a ton of regulatory red tape from governments.

I'm about as skeptical of the medical field as one can possibly get but this is some full blown dumb ass shit.

The entire medical field has been stressing not prescribing antibiotics for years as they're well aware we're running into more and more antibiotic resistant bacterias from over prescribing in years past.

They also are generally against removal of tonsils now as well unless you have some big ass chonkers at the back of your throat that are going to create breathing problems with an illness/inflammation.

Not to say I trust them completely because the entire scientific community seems to sniff their own shit moreso than hardcore religious fanatics of the past, but with most things in life, sanity lies somewhere in the middle.

It's easy to shit on modern medicine until you find yourself in need of emergency surgery and the 4chan doctor can't be reached because he passed out from too much weed and a porn marathon.
