Tech jobs, doctors, lawyers, construction, services, trucking , small business owners, and god knows what. This includes all immigrants from all nations but i am mostly talking about brown and chinese. If you remove immigrants from this country it would collapse, the whites are too old and too snobby to do the lower end jobs with shit pay and too stupid and gutless to do the hard and technical jobs.

American here. Canada is a shit hole. As shitty as things have gotten in America, celebrities and politicians can openly discuss and are encouraged to discuss changing demographics. It's also very realistic that most middle of the road people politically want educated and industrious immigrants that are heavily vetted. What people absolutely do not want are economic drains that come here illegally with manual labor skillets that, until bad orange man, were given housing, medical care, cell phones, food cards, public schooling, etc. No one in their right mind thinks that is sustainable. The only reason so many people support it is because Trump, who is bad and orange, is against it.

Yeah because of how we designed all our economic systems on constant growth of both businesses and population. Obviously that is not sustainable forever, but our only way to deal with the natural and inevitable recession is to just suffer through it and let the weakest starve, so we try to avoid it as much as possible rather than fibdibg a way to safely go through it.

I think Japan is a good experiment for the coming years, their growth is slowing and population shrinking, they even had some deflation which would be good for all the young people with no assets to get devalued. Abd most importantly, their extreme hatred of outsiders and convoluted language prevents them from taking the quick and easy fix of importing a workforce. So Im rooting for them, hope they make it and serve as an example to other countries that they dont need a million poos to keep as punishment for being too developed
