Awesome hairdresser recommendation from this sub!

Not too long ago I saw a post from u/SouxsieHomemaker here about her dad Eddie Martinez at Parker Salon Suites for hairdressing services. Just want to say, omg! I sent my husband there because we recently stopped using our last stylist and needed someone new. My husband is pretty picky so I was nervous suggesting, only because I had never seen Eddie for my own hair.

My husband LOVES his hair and Eddie! First thing he did when he called me is say “that is my BOY he was amazing” and I have literally never heard him be so excited about a haircut.

Just here to say if you need someone new, I’m so so happy we trusted the suggestion! Eddie was so nice, did a great job, and will be getting tons of recommendations from us going forward ☺️

My hairdresser is out in Rowlett. I’ve been thinking about changing to someone in Plano. Driving out to Rowlett has become a drag after so many years. Does Eddie only do men’s hair? I saw the original post but I don’t remember if it was mentioned

No he does both! I just haven’t had time to go by yet (I think they said he works tu-sat) but I will say he mentioned you “can’t add it back on” meaning he was careful about not over cutting which makes me even more excited to see him. Most stylists see my long hair and get a little too scissor happy

I have a fantastic place in Carrolton, TX actually. Its called the Essenz of India. They have branch in Dallas area well. They do amazing haircuts for a very reasonable price of $35 . They offer eyebrow threding, waxing, facials, hairspa and lot more. Do check it out. The staff are super sweet.
