[Build Upgrade Advice] Should I upgrade RAM and storage or save for a new build? (Preferably i want to upgrade)

Hi everyone,
I could use some advice on whether it's worth upgrading my current build or if I should just start saving money for a better setup. My current specs:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K @ 3.70GHz
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super
- RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2133MHz – 2/4 slots used
- Motherboard: MSI Z390-A PRO
- PSU: BeQuiet 750W
- Storage: (need more – suggestions welcome)
I'm on a tight budget, so my main question is:
Is it worth upgrading RAM and adding storage now, or is that just throwing away money?
If upgrading is a reasonable move:
- What RAM (speed, brand, size) would be compatible with my motherboard?
- Should I go for 32GB, or is 16GB still fine for most use cases? I would assume the days of 16gb RAM are slowly over.
- What kind of SSD (SATA, M.2 NVMe) will work with my motherboard?
Mostly using the PC for gaming and general use. Any help or upgrade suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

16gb should be fine for a good long while. You may run into an issue here and there but it’s not worth dropping money if you don’t have a reason you’re fixing it.
But DDR4 is real cheap right now so picking up 32gb probably won’t set you back too much.

The most important question is why are you upgrading. After you determine that, then you can modify your hardware to achieve what you want.

I want to upgrade because my ram usage is alot of time almost maxed out while gaming, or having some programs open, storage wise it wouldnt hurt to let stuff installed rather then delete smth to install smth.

If your ram is maxed out but you're not experiencing any issues, there's no reason to change that. If you're sure you need more ram, grab the cheapest 2x16gb 3200/cl16 kit you can find.
If you're running out of storage though, you can add a storage drive. If you don't have an m.2 drive installed already, get a 1tb or 2tb nvme drive like a MP44L, G50, UD90, WD580, etc. If you're already using the m.2 slot, you can replace the existing drive or get a 2.5" SATA drive.
