What are the best CPUs for the RTX 5060 TI 16GB?

I want a computer that can handle games like DOOM Dark Ages well, and I don't know what good cheap or budget CPUs can pair well with a 5060 ti 16gb without that many bottlenecks, would I need to buy a lot of coolers for it, forcing me to buy a whole new case if they are huge?

7500f or 12400f, any tower cooler will work.

How about i7 13700,14700 or i9 12900,13900,14900 ? Looking for cpu for 5060ti 16 gb and want to buy it once...heard about 13900,14900 having bad reputation...

I have a 5060 ti on my part list but only have a r5 5600T should I downgrade the gpu or should I get a better cpu I’m also on a small ish budget I want to. Keep it a bit under a thousand

7600x or 9600x?
IHackShit530@reddit
7600x/9600x is over rated. R7 7700 non x is a beast and AliExpress has good deals
novostranger@reddit (OP)
What cooler would I need for it
IHackShit530@reddit
Thermalright phantom spirit or peerless assassin 120

Any cheaper alternatives?
IHackShit530@reddit
Those are about $40 in my country. Maybe a single tower ID cooling would be a decent choice. $15-$19 I think
novostranger@reddit (OP)
Problem is that I don't find them in my country in stock.

Would i need to buy a completely new case and big coolers for it?
IHackShit530@reddit
Computer case shouldn’t matter. Cooler you can do a peerless assassin 120 made my Thermalright for $34-$40 depending on current pricing/ sales
novostranger@reddit (OP)
Problem is that buying that CPU from AliExpress will take years to ship to my country
IHackShit530@reddit
Hmmm I would go with 7600 non x then what are the sites you can buy from? I could take a look for you
novostranger@reddit (OP)
Nvm, found one that can ship to my home faster
IHackShit530@reddit
If you’re absolutely sure you want to go NVIDIA I can’t sway your opinion although I would strongly consider the 9070 or 9060XT

Depends on the pricing, the 7500f is really good value but usually cannot be bought in most local markets due to it being an OEM part. I would probably get the 7600/7600x whatever is cheaper (unless the difference is like $5). Same thing as the 7500f but has integrated graphics.
IHackShit530@reddit
7600 non x or 7500F
Vinit_Grover@reddit
why everyone not recommend 7600X what's the reason

Any am4 cards i could pair the 5060 ti with?
IHackShit530@reddit
5800xt/5700x3d

Tysm

i bought a i5 14600KF at 185 USD and imo it works great with my 5060 Ti

Ihave just bought the same combo waiting to get delivered. Good to hear it works.
collegerule108sheets@reddit
what motherboard did you use?

Likely something like the older r5-5600 or i5-12400 would be enough. Personally I would go with most anything modern. The r5-7500f, 7600, 7600x, or 9600x would all certainly work. Maybe even an Intel core ultra 245 if you feel adventurous.

Core ultras are so expensive :( am5 ftw then
