How long can you have someone stay in your house before you are ready for them to leave?

Depends on who it is. My mom and my in-laws drive me batshit crazy. Bonus points if they're both here at the same time. On the other hand, my brother and his family could be here for a week, and it wouldn't bother me at all. We get along great, have fun, they're helpful, clean, etc. A lot is just the idiosyncrasies of getting older, I guess. Example, my mom and my FIL can't hear for shit anymore. Both acknowledge it, but neither will do anything about it. So they'll decide they want to watch a movie and have the TV on def-con 5. Like loud enough that I can't even be in the room. And then to make matters worse, after about 15 minutes, they'll start talking to each other, looking shit up online, showing each other pictures, anything but watching the movie. But if you try to change it or turn the volume down, they "were watching that." Last time my in-laws were here, in an effort to be helpful, which I really do appreciate, they unloaded the dishwasher. Only thing is, it was loaded with dirty dishes. They put away a whole load of dirty dishes. We ended up having to wash just about everything in the house, because we weren't sure exactly which forks were truly clean and which were ones had just been rinsed but not really clean. My daughter is graduating in a few weeks, so this will be my life again soon.
