The metal wheels myth. lol. I remember someone always saying "metal wheels would be rad" and then someone else going "nah, it doesn't work, I know a guy who tried it"
I remember seeing some of the skaters doing press for the movie. One interviewer asked them to define Gleaming the Cube, and they all said it was just a term someone made up for the movie to sound edgy.
Not only do I gleam entire cubes, but I also pray the Prayer of The Rollerboys.

I wore the hell out of that vhs. I rented it from the local video rental probably 100 times. I haven’t wanted it in probably 25 years but I bet I still know every word.
I used to Gleam Cubes 3-4 a day on command. I am lucky to Gleam once a month. Cubes still look great, but I don't even want to look at them anymore. I've been with the same Cube for years.
