A lot of poplar and willow trees in Milton Keynes produce an absolute ton of white fluff at this time of year. Especially noticeable nearer water (brooks, canals, lakes etc)
Didn’t happen before Brexit, when all the air fibre/fluff was monitored for size and consistency. You’ll find the fibre/fluff is far less in France, Belgium and Germany..
I dont think so tbh. Could be from a similar plant I havent seen i guess. The fibres dont have the springiness and the way they bend and curl like fibres is pretty distinct

I'll have to find a dandelion and see what the seed fluff looks like after ageing
There's loads of stuff in the air at the moment. I stopped at a traffic calming thing yesterday with the window open and a load of fluff blew in. People I work with who have hayfever are seriously suffering at the moment too.
Apart from standard dust build up there is all these *tiny* fibres/fluff building up on my floors and there is so much of it. Very hard to get a photo of it so I tried to seperate some from the dust
I don't use a clothes dryer so it can't be that. Its not some naturally occuring thing from plants or something right?
