Should i buy the rx580 or save a bit more for a less power consuming card?

nowadays games just start to not work in minimum graphics in my sad 1050ti, the idea is to go to 8gb vram because most games require at least 6 and normally minimum requirements is playing them at inconsistent 40\~ fps, so id like to get a card that run some of the newer games, mostly because im going for gambling that some newer games that tend to be not so intense on graphics can run on my pc on minimum settings, so i have to get around that, i just want to spend around 100 to 150 and the best deal for 8gb seems that is the rx 580, but i dont know how much does the power consumption because just looking at the numbers its pretty insane.

Don’t buy an rx 580 in the modern day, it’s not getting driver updates and it’s really showing its age. Get a 6600xt or similar card

how is the driver updates in the 5500? everyone is suggesting the 6600xt and i just cant buy it straight up, its 250-300, i literally just cant spend that on my pc.

I don't think it's your country. I think it's your searching that needs refined. If I just search on Amazon, I'm gonna see $130 for RX 580 as well.
If it has to be through Amazon, you can look through a seller's listings to find their best deals. The worst way to go about finding a deal on Amazon is to have a particular model in mind. You have to evaluate your needs and wait for a good price on any GPU that matches those needs.
I usually just look through all of the used listings for a popular product, then visit the seller's profile of those with the best feedback and look through all of their items for sale.

well this is good to put more information, this is basically not possible because of how import fees work, i dont search on amazon, i search in a local page that imports from amazon with different fees (literally 100$ lower), i have SOME of the amazon things, so the price is always gonna be pretty standard and the normal high to see, and this place is genuinely cheaper than second hand, its pretty unreliable to go searching like that, im also checking a range of them, but my range is pretty hard when its between the little amount of gpus there are that are better than mine, 8 gbs vram AND around that price and im trying to find the best deal, thats why im asking here.

Ok, keep in mind that VRAM is not the best metric to measure GPU performance. Shading units and texture mapping units and clock speed are all more important.

$100-$150 USD in the United States? The RX580 was a good card once, but not anymore IMO.

clearly im not from usa, i was also going for cheap and its still around the 100 mark, even if i go to amazon its marked around that, second hand is even more expensive than getting it from outside the country
Alexa_Call_Me_Daddy@reddit
You never mentioned (or even hinted at) where you are in your original post. So "clearly" is definitely a stretch.
unrikopan@reddit (OP)
yeah, i phrased it poorly, i didnt meant clearly you shouldve known, but more as thats just not how it is because i said thats the price i have, but why would you assume im from usa, tho? and anyway if i put a price point for one card, if you want to respond, which you can just not do, you at least could assume that here thats the price where is at and say that either i should buy it or not and if you want recommend something else, i thought it was logical that i was asking that, but i guess i didnt make it clear enough, mb.

6600 used is 150$ easy find, here in EU I see like 10+ for that price in my area.

thanks for the suggestion, here its absolutely not 150, its 250 normally 200 at best without the importing prices.
failaip13@reddit
580s should be 50$ max in most countries.
Routine-Lawfulness24@reddit
100$ for rx 580 is overpriced
drowsycow@reddit
save for a rx6600?
