Good CPU for RTX 4060

So initially, I was planning to get a RTX 4060 paired with Ryzen 7 5700x and one of my friends told me that it would bottleneck, and there was this tech TikTok live streamer who is known, and i asked if it's a good pair.
He says that what i should get is a 3070 or 3080. Is that actually a better pair? or am i good with a 4060?
my 2nd plan was 5 5600x paired with a 30 series GPU or just 4060.
please help me with this 'bottleneck' stuff i really don't understand it. Thanks.

Well if youβre planning to upgrade your cpu then go for a 5800x3D. That shit wont bottleneck a 4080 or 3090Ti. So ur 4060 is definitely not going to bottleneck at that point. Also are u just limited to the 4060? Personally Id go with a 3080 if I can find a good deal on it or 4070Ti or non ti version.
Yeah Id looked at the used market too, just be careful of scams.

I'm not planning to upgrade my CPU so i want it to last me a long long time without being 'left out' by better gear in the future.
4060 is the cheapest one but maybe i'll just adjust my budget and get a 3070 or even a ti version.
so is 7 5700x better or am i good with a 5 5600x

5600x and 4060 is not a bottleneck and maybe it can also handle a 4070ti/Super without bottleneck.
My suggestion keep the 4000 series just go for a 4060TI or 4070. If u can find some at a good deal. A 3070TI is a good option too but the 4000 series have more advance features than the 3000 like frame gen and etc. but in the end ur options are good and not a bottleneck to the 5600x! Unless you are going 3080TI or 4080.

so i can just go 5600x and save money ππ»ππ»ππ» lets gooo

Yeah for sure man, you can also look up more about the 5600x and 4070 pair up. And its not a bottleneck.

What are you planning to use it for?
Are any of these parts you already own? Or things you're thinking of getting used?
3070 and 3080 are both quite a bit faster than a 4060, so would be nice to have.

I'm mostly going to use it for gaming (Valo, Cs, League and AAA games) and streaming those said games.
I don't have it yet, I'm planning to buy a 2nd hand 3070 from FB marketplace.
