Pretty much what the title said.
- i9-10900k cpu cooled with Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280mm A AIO
- temps hitting 90-100 degrees Celsius while gaming
- temps 60-70 degrees while idling
- Motherboard: z-490 a pro
- GPU: RTX 3070
- 1000 watt psu
Thanks in advance.

Have you tried adjusting the wattage? At default, that CPU can easily hit over 250W.

Unnecessary. I've used a 10900k on a 240mm and it doesn't do this bad.
Op, you have the wrong mounting screws, left the plastic on, or it's defective.

Will remount and double check system, thank you.

First and foremost, you're just one user. Most people with the 10900k had issues with it hitting the high 90s even with an AIO. You can even look up all the complaints. One of the most common solutions is dropping the CPU wattage.

Again, I've used the product. It's not this big an issue if the aio is mounted right.
Something is wrong here, this is not common, especially the idle.

Will look into this, thank you.
