How many of y'all dress different now, but still have Type O Negative running through your veins?

And I mean the band and Pete Steele (God rest his Wolf Moon soul) not the actual blood type.
Good_Promotion8883@reddit
Those days are long behind me. But, it's the one band I for sure re-visit in Autumn.
draperyfallz@reddit
I still wear flannels and band tshirts
Gonzostewie@reddit
Hell yes. I work in the industry now and it's almost prerequisite to have a band on your shirt at work.

...we were supposed to dress different now? Well, I guess the bands on my shirts have changed. But yeah, I still love Type O Negative and never getting to see them live is a regret of mine.
Zeqhanis@reddit
Yep. And I also still go to a lot of gothic and industrial shows, but just wear whatever now.
johnnloki@reddit
I was an 8 inch shorter Peter Steel lookalike- legitimately.
I remember in 2006 or so seeing interviews of his thinking he looked like shit. In ways, he did, but I am certainly not a Peter steel impersonator anymore.
Still love type o, but listen to it less.

I guess I dress differently in the sense my hair isn’t down to the middle of my back and I lost the Scott Ian goatee.
But I’m not like a Dockers model or anything. Just another graybeard metalhead happy their job isn’t client facing so I can still get away with pretty casual dress.

Type O will always be in my veins. Miss Pete so much
Traditional_Entry183@reddit
I've had O- blood my whole life.
Not sure what else it would refer to...
somethingenigmatic@reddit
Typo O Neg Blood type holders representing here 😂
like_shae_buttah@reddit
I love TON and listen to them almost daily still.
louiselebeau@reddit
I saw them at #'s nightclub in Houston Texas USA around 1999. They busted the sound system, and an amp started smoking.
It was awesome.
austinmiles@reddit
A number of friends are in a death metal bands. I always think it’s hilarious because nobody from their work guess. And Nobody from the scene would guess what they do at work.
EquivalentPolicy8897@reddit
This guy, right here. Also have the blood type.
Traumagatchi@reddit
Same here!
Serimnir@reddit
I was very disappointed when I tested O positive.
gorilla-ointment@reddit
O+ here too. Blood center calls me all the damn time to donate lol 🩸

Same.

Never really got into Type O. I like uptempo, fast music so I love extreme metal like technical death metal and stuff. I can definitely relate to this, though, as I usually look pretty well put together.
FatReverend@reddit
I still dress the same. Don't wear makeup anymore though.
w0rsh1pm3owo@reddit
I like vitamins
OkBiscotti1140@reddit
I still pull up to school drop off in my social distortion/ type o negative/ bad religion or whatever I’m feeling concert tees. Obviously I don’t wear them to work but outside of work heck yea.

I listen to "My girlfriend's girlfriend" about once a week, and fondly recall a relationship I was in, around 98/99
SashimiRick@reddit
Introduced my 4 year-old to The Cramps today while wearing my Cure tshirt. I will never de-goth myself!

They’re probably the band I listen to the most from my teens. I somehow found them when I was 14 right when Bloody Kisses came out and they’ve been my favorite band since.
NefariousnessFun5631@reddit
Same and growing up on staten island and havening a South brooklyn bf we ran into them all the time.
NefariousnessFun5631@reddit
I met Pete in the parking lot of thr black sabbath reunion tour and I was like omg you're peter Steele can you sign this and the only thing I had was the black sabbath/Pantera/deftones ticket stub and it makes no sense but I love it.
Astrofyzx@reddit
I no longer dress gothic, but it lives on in my cold, black heart 🖤🩶
eat_like_snake@reddit
I still have Type O running through my veins, but I do not dress different.
I just don't have the money for the corsets and shit that I wore when I was 18, but my style's still the same goth shit it always was.
ServoWHU42@reddit
I used to listen to Type O a lot. I still do, but I used to too.

I went from spiked hair, spiked collars and black eyeliner to polo shirts, plaid, trucker caps.
My "Working in the woods" playlist as metal as my burned CDs in high school.
cloudydays2021@reddit
Always. They were one of the greats! I blast them all the time
Ok_Researcher_9796@reddit
I only have the actual blood type.
yowza_wowza@reddit
My hand is up and I do actually have type o negative blood.
Arachne93@reddit
My favorite band, probably. I listen to them so so much. I'm still not over losing Pete. I got to see them live so often, so at least that. They were sort of local to us, so we even ran into them doing side projects, or just out catching shows around Brooklyn. Such cool dudes.
heaven_and_hell_80@reddit
I have both. At all times.
Warrior-Cook@reddit
Yes.
90s fan, even saw them in concert for the October Rust tour, but then, I fell off their albums before World Coming Down came out. ...just following different music, different rabbit holes.
It wasn't until just this past winter when this cat Denis Pauna appeared in my YT algorithm. He's got a whole series of him performing *songs, as if done by Type O Negative"...and they were crack on for sound. ...the next day I ordered all 7 of their albums and have been listening to them for months. I drifted away, but snapped right back.
World Coming Down and October Rust are probably my favorites, yet the last two albums are really good, too. It's a trip to go through their discography and hear them come into their own lane. Their weaving of different tones and tempos is really something awesome.
MasticatedDorks@reddit
I was just listening to Type O
Platt_Mallar@reddit
I still remember my dad coming in and listening to a couple of tracks with me. The look on his face when he recognized cinnamon girl was priceless.
(My dad is awesome. He didn't like my music, but he wanted to understand what I liked about it. He was a 70s rock guy.)
seanymphcalypso@reddit
I still wear short sleeve shirts over my long sleeve shirts. And jeans that drag on the ground just a teeny bit behind my heel. And adidas shoes!
But now I’m hella anemic so sometimes I wear a sweater too. And my jeans have that stretch in them. And occasionally inserts in my sneakers..
