What's this guy thinking?

My buddy got the one you got and I got the round one. We both drained and stored them. You’re gonna wanna get a pump to drain and DO NOT drag the liner on the ground. You will tear it. The round one has the legs that are just polls and I had to jack up the pool and put pavers under them after it was filled. They started to sink into the dirt. Yours is much sturdier, but I would think about putting pavers down to disperse the weight a little more. Make sure there’s ample room between the pavers and liner. You don’t want it rubbing. Make sure the water line stays level, I think (double check) you have an inch difference, use the printed pattern on the liner as your guide. It will cause the pool to collapse if you get too uneven. Neither of use sanded the ground. Just make sure there’s no rocks, sticks or roots, etc. Garden rake any uneven high spots. If you do use pavers, dig them in. I’m sure there’s a Reddit group, there was a Facebook one. That’s where I learned about jacking & pavers. Lots of good tips. Seriously, one day will be wasted setting it up; (especially if you’ve never done one) but you’re gonna have blast. They’re not the nicest, but then again it’s not $200k on a in-ground and patio!
