Same. I'd probably use coppa as the pork vessel myself, I generally don't eat pork but make exceptions for things that seem amazing such as this. I bet it *pears* well when dipped in a little honey throughout eating.

There was a restaurant near me that used to do an open faced, fried PB&J. They used Texas toast, heavily buttered and flat topped, 1/8” PB on one side and jelly the other. Topped with preserves and powdered sugar. Served with a knife and fork.
