We have had protests before and once they turned violent we lost the moral high ground and a lot of public support. Turkey is not Serbia, majority of Turkish people see the state as sacred even if they disagree with the current administration, so attacking state institutions, destroying streets and attacking cops will not help out case. Keeping the protests going full force but peaceful is the only way. Of course more drastic measures may be needed down the line but right now violence will only hurt us more.
