How can we make this a weekly thing?! Is there no app for this vast amount of information?!?!
JustMeInBigD@reddit
I'm going to try to say this gently, but warning you in advance, I'm likely to fail.
This already IS a weekly thing. It's a pinned post in the sub every week. You can go to the sub, usually Wednesday or Thursday, but always by Friday and see the new week's list. If that's too much effort, you can follow the the OP on reddit to see their posts. Or for heavens sake, there's a note right on the list of how to subscribe (meaning get an email every time a new list is posted.)
Do you want a list here weekly or do you want an app? Because they are NOT the same thing. People who are taking their own personal time to make valuable information like this available FOR FREE and conveniently accessible to you probably don't have the time to build it into an app. (I know I didn't.) And an app is much harder to maintain for a single person and almost certainly won't be free as there are costs to produce it.
POV: I posted a list like this on this sub every week (with a couple of breaks) for years. And most weeks someone came into the post and asked the same question you did. If you want something this valuable (and it's extremely valuable) you're going to need to make a little bit of effort yourself.
While you're at it, give it an upvote or write a "thank you" comment without any conditions or demands. Just straight up praise.
The reason I got worked up enough to write this is mainly because you said "How can WE make this a weekly thing?!" when the only person making any effort here is the OP. Who's the WE you're talking about?
Asking "What can I do to help make this a weekly thing..."or "is there anything I can contribute to this list" would be much more of a WE thing. (But I can tell you from experience, commenters are far more likely to demand something additional or different in the lists than to offer help.)
Rant over.
