What bike should I get for a e bike conversion kit

The conversion kit is a 2000w 52v 21ah and only fits MTX/Hybrid bikes (so no Mountain bikes). Also something a little affordable. Max: 400$

Mtx? What's that. 2k power you don't want to use a hybrid bike. Idk man $400 is kind of unrealistic for something of that power you're gonna be on some bike not equipped for that power and torque.
Best of luck to you. Get torque arms and a solid connection to the bolts to clamp on.

I was meaning that the kit I’m getting can go a regular mountain bike. I realise that 400$ is kinda unrealistic but I’m trying to go on a budget but thanks for the help

so does it fit on a regular mountain bike or not? So confusing. What size is the wheel?

I got you OP only 250$ more and comes with the bike

Start with a quality bike, used is fine if you want to save money. Add a quality kit and a quality battery and you'll have a quality e-bike. The whole thing is only as good as its weakest component.
This is mine, a CYC Photon motor with 25AH battery on a Trek dual sport.

Get a used 2000s mountain bike with disc brakes and a decent fork. I run an 80s mountain bike with a rigid fork and hydraulic rim brakes. I know how to ride it and don’t go overboard but my setup is not ideal for most people. I am looking for another donor bike so I can restore this bike.

Something sturdy and with hydrolic brakes. Tbh I wouldn't buy a conversion kit at all as nobody will touch it if you have technical issues.

A conversion kit is all I can really afford right now as most real e bikes cost at least 2k for a slow one

Conversion kits are fine, it's just quality is really hit or miss on the lower budget end. The usual advice would be to get a bike you like first, then a conversion kit to match.
My original conversion used a steel mountain bike frame that was older than I am, I paid $100 for it and it worked great.

You're better off building your own from a kit if you want half decent performance on a budget..

Where do you live?

Walmart Ozark Trails. They have different models and people have been highly recommending them for their price point. Search Ozark Trails in a different biking sub like r/mtb or something and you’ll see what people are saying
