Y'all often complain about trailers being too high, but people doing this can DIAF lol

Writing this as I'm letting the suspension dump, and I'll still have to crank of shame this 45k load.

You can crank a trailer down in high gear easily enough but can only raise it in low gear.

If an empty is greased properly that can be raised in high gear with a bit of effort. I'm not very strong either.

I prefer too high opposed to being too low, some drivers are just idiots… we got one driver we work with who just is an idiot always looks lost…. Lmao

lol we all work with dumb people who leave these trailers any kind of way 😂

This is probably worse than either of us think. I'm pretty sure it's a dedicated driver doing this (I've seen this 5x as much in my two months with them vs 2yr otr) and heights match up on the company trucks.
This tells me that someone is brushing these trailers on their drive tires when dropping every time.

More than likely it's an issue of height differences in where the trailers are being dropped vs where they are being picked up.
Anyway this is easy to fix with a 4x4 between the frame and the trailer, just drop the bags, shove in the dunnage, raise the bags so that it lifts the trailer, raise the landing gear, and away you go.

I've been to that site countless times when OTR. I drive nights so it was always one of a handful of sites that could get me out of the area. It's not that. Also someone's been doing this at multiple other sites, two I can guarantee are completely level.

Yard dog to the rescue!!!!

Haha, it was doable in low gear. Just took forever, plus the bar kept wanting to snap back as if it were elastic.
