Disappointed in gun manufacturers politicizing products

I’ve been doing my research on ARs and was pretty excited to pickup a PSA. Listened to multiple podcasts with the company, watched reviews. I liked a lot of what I heard. Today I came across their JAKL with a Trump design on it.
Why? This is so ridiculous. Many of us 2A advocates are non-partisan, some are liberal. All this kind of crap does is diminish your brand. I don’t think any kind of product should shill for politicians and it’s disgusting seeing them feature a criminal president who consistently violates our Constitution, and ignores and defies the courts.
My money will go elsewhere.

“and it’s disgusting seeing them feature a criminal president who consistently violates our Constitution, and ignores and defies the courts.”
I didn’t know they made a Joe Biden vaccine mandate AR.
Glittering-Total-116@reddit
Vaccine mandates were a thing long before Joe Biden. Hence why many vaccines are required if you want to put your child in public school. I think 1905 was the first time they issued the mandate and were fining people for refusing the smallpox vaccine. Either way, they ruled it constitutional a long time ago to issue vaccine mandates for the safety and security of our nation.
Trump on the other hand tried to strip birthright citizen ship (14th amendment) within 2 weeks of being president. The two in my opinion are not very comparable.
volckerwasright@reddit
No, it was a huge overreach with a predictable outcome, thats why this happened.

If even the slightest association with Trump is a problem for you then the issue might be you.
If it had a rainbow flag on it would you be telling the MAGAtards to suck it up?
Don't like the Trump gun, don't buy the Trump gun.
Chopchopstixx@reddit
Cool story, bro. You’ll find that many companies do this.
MuchInspection2154@reddit (OP)
So which AR makers don’t?
TheGreatTesticle@reddit
You'll find that most manufacturers don't offer a Trumped out version.
Bringon2026@reddit
No point selling guns to people who’d hand them over to government.
1bentpushrod@reddit
Somewhere, Danny is devastated that one redditor created an entire account just to post this garbage. I think I heard him sobbing over his missed sale.
Gews@reddit
I agree. It's not just another tacky product. To me it advertises the company has a lack of basic decency.
tubadude2@reddit
I’d say the morons who worship him eat that garbage up, but the stores in ruby red WV I frequent ordered a bunch but are having a hard time selling the ones from even the first time.
MuchInspection2154@reddit (OP)
Yes it’s obvious they will support a 2A leaning party. Thats expected. But this product looks like a total grift. Where’s Bush? Reagan? Nixon? Etc.
KeepandBearMemes@reddit
Reagan banned machine guns, bush and Nixon did nothing to support 2A. Trump didnt do much good his first term, but this time around he is shaking things up at the ATF. It hasn't been all good, but he has been the most pro 2a president of this century. Next would be teddy roosevelt, at a time when there were literally no federal gun laws on the books
forwardobserver90@reddit
One side activity tries to destroy gun right in this country. I wonder why gun companies support the other side.
MuchInspection2154@reddit (OP)
I don’t see any other republican President guns from these manufacturers. If they’re gonna do it, don’t half ass it. I’d just rather they not do it at all. It’s as bad as liberal companies making everything a rainbow. It’s performative.
forwardobserver90@reddit
People spend money on stupid shit. Blame the idiotic consumer, not the people selling to the idiots.
Geoff_Tac@reddit
PSA supports a lot of second amendment protections. One party has become an open enemy to the 2nd Amendment and it isn't Trump. I have a ton of problems with Trump, but the 2a isn't one of them.
chewbacca_martinis@reddit
Cry more.
I can't enjoy Star Wars without 300 idiots educating me about "TEH EMPIRE IS TRUMP IT'S SO OBVIOUS" with ham-fisted "moral" messages.
You wanted companies virtue-signaling; realize that some, specially in this industry, are going to be hostile towards liberals. I don't think they're pro-Trump, but some of their consumer base is and they're just catering to them. That's capitalism to ya.
MuchInspection2154@reddit (OP)
I don’t want companies virtue signaling. I’m not liberal. That and grifty Trump guns is all performative and it’s a turn off.
chewbacca_martinis@reddit
So? If it is so bad, it won't sell, and it will be their problem.
After_Dot_7583@reddit
You could paint your rifle with trans flag colors. That’ll show em’!
poodinthepunchbowl@reddit
If someone’s willing to buy it then you make it, until I see a big titty aoc ar I’ll just buy a black one
MuchInspection2154@reddit (OP)
LOL
DeWin1970@reddit
Blame the NRA
forwardobserver90@reddit
Yes it’s the NRAs fault democrats run on gun control as one of their primary pillar./s a
what-name-is-it@reddit
PSA is one of the biggest 2A advocates that exist. Their affordable AR’s have helped make the platform common use. If you don’t like politics on a gun, don’t buy that one. I’m non-partisan and couldn’t care less about Trump shit on guns. It’s makes them ugly as hell in my opinion but to each their own.
MacpedMe@reddit
Gun manufacturers tend to support parties that don’t actively attempt to legislate away their ability to sell their products.
KeepandBearMemes@reddit
You are spitting in the wind. There is not a single liberal politician fighting for our gun rights, it's no surprise AR manufacturing panders to the right
