Well, there’s Stubby Bob from Roadkill, there was a very short run TV Show in 1998 with Beau Bridges call led Maximum Bob, somebody needs to do a build on this and call in Minimum Bob!
To add to that, there were some toters that had adjustable frame lengths to meet individual state’s maximum length laws during multi state transport. Kind of sketchy. (Source, my gpa moved mobile homes for over 50 years starting in the late 1950’s.) There is still a shorty truck like this sitting in Nashville IL just off IL 127.

It may be small but it gets the job done.

No driveshaft, just the transmission connected to the differential.
Quirky-Raspberry2108@reddit
Great! I think it has user-friendly benefits.

Yeah, pretty much.

It is just a little cold.
Nightvid-DatDadTho@reddit
What would you haul with that thing, a stick of gum? A stick if gum might be too long, would probably stick out the bed
cpufreak101@reddit
Judging by the hitch, is this an old Airport tug? I've seen modern F-750's with a similar build for this purpose.
that_had_to_hurt@reddit
Could also be a trailer-toter.
I use to see shortened trucks like this being used to move mobile homes 40+ years ago.
Switchlord518@reddit
Also used in old traveling circuses and side shows

Turning radius = No
smb3d@reddit
Shouldn't it have an excellent turning radius with a short wheelbase?
RandomflyerOTR@reddit
Yes, so the implication is that there is no turning radius because of how well it turns
Chrisfindlay@reddit
Yes the truck should be able to turn extremely tight.

It was used to transport mobile homes. It had to be short so it could maneuver the trailer in it's spot. They rode like crap with that wheelbase.
